Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

Every Knee

God is the Most High God. He so loved us that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ a living sacrifice for our sins on the cross at Calvary. Because He humbled Himself unto the death of the cross, the Father, the God of all flesh, has given Him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father, in heaven, on the Earth, and under the Earth. That includes you, and every other man, woman, and child, every angel, every power and principality, and the devil himself.
Jesus Christ died to take away our sins and to give us His righteousness, through faith in His shed blood, who was tempted in every way as we are and did no sin, neither was any deceit found in His mouth. If you think you can walk in sin and justify yourself by miss- applying the Word of God and twisting it, trodding under foot the Son of God, and counting the blood of his covenant an unholy thing, doing despite unto the Spirit of grace as you walk on in your lies, your adultery, fornication, and idolatry and call it faith and righteousness, or continue to justify and support those who do, you are greatly deceived, and know this, your knee will bow! You will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and give an account for all your deeds, and unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and pharisees, you will in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Free Indeed

Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Everyone, when they start in the Word of God, when they start following Jesus, are in some degree of bondage. Jesus said that as you continue in His Word, you will be his disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. When you start your christian walk you are still in bondage, but as you continue on to know the Lord and walk in His Word, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
One of the ways in which we are bound is by receiving and believing lies. When you believe a lie a stronghold of the devil is established in you. He is the father of lies. Then you begin to walk according to those lies you have received and it keeps you from believing the truth and overcoming and bearing fruit. So the Lord , in His great mercy sends someone to speak His Word by the Holy Spirit to you, which if you can receive it will minister life to you and allow you to be delivered from the strongholds. If you believe His Word then the strongholds and imaginations and everything that exhalts itself against the knowledge of God can come down. The lies are exposed by the light. However, many say, like the pharisees, "We are not in bondage, we are christians." No, Jesus said "If you continue in His Word, then you will be made free.
If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

That's Entertainment !

In Eph 5:18 the Apostle Paul said, And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. This is how we are to walk together as brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord. We are filled with the Holy Ghost, the kingdom of God is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, we are worshiping the father in Spirit and in truth, we are giving Him thanks, and we are in submission to one another in the fear of Him. We will be edified, stregnthened to walk on in the Spirit of God glorifying Him. Jesus said, deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me, every day.
Entertainment is not like this. Entertainment is self gratification of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. It is not of the Father, it is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lusts there of, but he that does the will of God abides forever. What place has entertainment in the christian's walk?
In the West we have constant entertainment, all kinds of media to indulge ourselves in day and night, and most christians are engaged, not spending time being filled with the Holy Spirit, worshiping God and edifying one another, reading the Word and praying, but rather sowing to the flesh and reaping corruption. Do you, christian brother or sister, honestly think that you can work at your job 40 to 50 hours a week and spend all the time you presently spent entertaining yourself through the media and possibly spend enough good time with God, filled with His Spirit, worshiping Him, reading and praying and growing in the grace of our Lord? Many churches and ministries entertain christians rather than provoke them to love of our Lord Jesus, one another, and good works.
I believe this is one of the main methods of the devil to destroy the power and witness of the church, and to keep christians distracted, to keep the kingdom of God from manifesting in the earth. There has to be a body of brothers and sisters who are truly devoted to Jesus and walking in the Holy Spirit and the Word of God for His kingdom to manifest locally.
The Apostle Peter said in 1 Pet 4:3, For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. The time is past for these things if you are a servant of the Lord, it's time now to serve Him day and night with all our being.
The entertainment media is full of abominable idolatry(what "stars" do you worship?) , lasciviousness, lusts, and excesses. As you continue indulging in it you are sowing to your flesh and you will reap corruption, but if you will lay it down, repent and seek the Lord, spend time with Him, learn to be filled with His Spirit, and with the knowledge of His Word, He will build His kingdom in you, you will be blessed, and you will end up being a blessing in the earth. They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with it's affections and lusts.
Do you believe this scripture? Rom 8:13, For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify( put to death) the deeds of the body, you shall live.
Jesus said, When I return will I find faith on the earth?

You Do Greatly Err

In Mat 22:29 Jesus said to the Sadducees :You do greatly err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. It is the same for us today. This is where we greatly err. We don't know the scriptures as we should. We need to be reading and meditating in God's Word every day. We don't know the power of God. We need to seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit every day. We need to be sure we as christians have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and continue to be filled with the Spirit and truely learn to walk in the Spirit and be led by the Spirit. He will teach us God's Word and cause us to walk in it, more and more, every day, faith to faith, glory to glory. This is how we are going to overcome. This is where satan fights us with all kinds of distractions, cares, deceitful lusts.
God will pull down these things in us as we continue to humble ourselves and seek His face. Ask Him to do this in your life. He will do it if we truly seek Him and believe. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Again, it is the Word of God with the Holy Spirit following Jesus, looking to Him, truly loving Him, keeping His Words as you are led by the Spirit. Amen.

The Comforter

Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Comforter. Everything God does He does with His Word, by His Holy Spirit. If you look in Genesis 1:2&3 you see the Spirit moving and then God spoke and it was! It is the same all through the scriptures. He gives the Holy Spirit to them that obey Him. That is why I have been stressing how important it is to come to Jesus with all your heart and know Him. He will comfort you by His Spirit. Religion is there to convince us that we know him and we have the Holy Spirit and we believe and we are justified and we don't need to change, when actually we are blind and poor and miserable and wretched and too prideful to admit it. God grants His grace to the humble. It is a daily walk of repentance and believing the Gospel, and seeking Him. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. When the Father raised His Son from the dead, He raised you with Him!
In Luke 11:13 Jesus said, If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? He said ask and you shall receive, seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened.
If you are in the midst of a great trial of your faith, it is for your good, for your perfection. Jesus changes us by breaking us. As you continue to trust Him He will bring you through this. He never intended for us to walk as a Christian without the Comforter. So seek after the fullness of His Spirit coming upon you and filling you with His Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost! The Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power!

Loneliness ?

Loneliness is a work of our flesh. When you know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, and trust Him with all your heart, you will never be lonely. We need to repent fully of all sin and unrighteousness and devote ourselves completely to Him. Jesus said, Deny yourself, take up your cross , and follow me, (Jesus), every day.The cross is an instrument of death. It is the will of the Father that we die with Him, being baptized into His death, and raised with Him to serve Him and not ourselves. As you walk with Him in this way He will gently lead you in righteous paths to expose things in you that He wants to deliver you from, and as you continue in submission to Him, walking in His Word, He will set you free. True freedom is only in Jesus, in total devotion to Him and obedience to His will for your life, daily. His mercies are new every morning! This is walking in the light. He is the light. He said in Joh 8:31 If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Also in 1John1:7, If we walk in the light, as He is in the light,we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As you walk with Him daily and He by His Spirit shows you something wrong, or your conscience pricks you about something, you go to Him and repent with all your heart. He forgives you because of His sacrifice on the cross, because He was made sin for you that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him, and His shed blood, through faith in His blood, cleanses you from all sin and unrighteousness, and you walk on in righteousness with Him, keeping your conscience clear of offence toward God and man. This is how we are to walk, filled with the Holy Ghost. You need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit to walk this way. Jesus said to his disciples before He left to go be with the Father, I will not leave you comfortless, when I go to be with the Father I will send the Holy Spirit and He will be with you forever. Jesus said in Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? This is Christianity. Religion is false. It gives you false hope and false security that you might be destroyed. It is only the mercies of God that we escape it.

Now is the Time

Turn to the Lord with all your heart. Now is the time. Behold now is the hour. He is surely coming soon, and what will you do when you see Him? Will you cower in shame or will you rejoice and be glad with confidence before Him? You are making choices right now. Jesus said to Nicodemus in John chapter 3, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the World through Him might be saved. The only way you are going to be saved is through Him. You say,"Saved from what?" From the wrath of God to come. He that believes on Him is not condemned; but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Is that you? Do you have evil deeds that you love? Be honest with yourself. Are there things you feel you just can't do with out? You say "I've heard John3:16 all my life....." When was the last time you really meditated on what Jesus is saying here? Do you truely believe He is the only begotten Son of God? In John1 the Apostle John said He is the Word of God and that He was made flesh. The angel Gabriel said to Mary, "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. " The Bible says He was tempted in every way as we are yet He never sinned. He willingly gave himself a living sacrifice for our sins. He became sin on the cross and suffered the full penalty for us which is death and hell . Why? Because He so loves us! He does not want us do be destroyed. He made us. When we reject Him we condemn ourselves to destruction. On the third day the Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, raised Him from the dead. The scripture says we are dead in our trespasses and sins and we were made alive in Him. When the Father raised Him up, He raised us with Him. But you have to join Him in His death by repenting and believing and being baptized in water, buried with Him in baptizm, and raised with Him to serve Him in newness of life, not yourself any longer. Did you ever wonder what Jesus meant when He said he that finds his life shall lose it, but he that loses his life for my sake shall find it? Jesus also said in John 3; He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him. The only way that you can be saved from the wrath of God is to turn to Jesus with all your heart, repent of your ways and put all your trust in Him.
Don't kid yourself any more. Spend some time thinking on what the Word of God says. The wrath of God , the Day of His wrath is surely coming, against all ungodliness and all the ungodly. All the wicked are going to be destroyed forever. Only those who are righteous by believing and obeying Jesus, as He said in Mat 7, only those who are doing the will of the Father, will live on with Him in His kingdom. Are you righteous or are you wicked? The Apostle John said, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that commits sin, (practices or continues in sin), is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Repent now while you have the time.
This time right now is the time the Apostle Peter refered to like the days of Noah: the longsuffering of God was waiting, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and then the flood came and destroyed them all. He said ,in 2Peter:3, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Turn to the Lord with all your heart. Now is the time.

The Tower of Siloam

Luk 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luk 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Luk 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Many people are perishing today in warfare and in natural disasters. Just as Jesus Christ our Lord said it would be in the last days so it is:
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Just as He said about the Tower of Siloam so it is today: Do you think that all those people who perished in the many major earthquakes and tsunamis we have had in just the last few years, hundreds of thousands of people, were sinners above all the other people dwelling in those stricken cities? We just had over 100 tornadoes rip through the southern United States killing over 200 people and making over 1 million homeless. Do you think those people were sinners above all the others living in those areas? I tell you no; but unless you repent you shall all likewise perish. Make no mistake, every word that the Lord has spoken will come to pass. I urge you to take this very seriously and repent to God while you still have time.
The Bible says:Psa 32:5&6: I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid, I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

To My Family

I want to tell you that I love you all very much. I pray earnestly for you all very often and for your families. My desire is for all of us to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. That is also the Father in heaven’s desire as well. Jesus said in John 3:14-21, “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son,(Jesus was born of the virgin Mary after that the Holy Ghost was come upon her. The angel Gabriel said, in speaking with her, “Therefore that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”) that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But He that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest that they are wrought in God.
Dearly beloved, our problem is sin. Sin is transgression of God’s law and the wages of sin is death, eternal death and separation from God and His life and His goodness; in order to save us from which He gave His only begotten Son to die on the cross at Calvary and fully atone for all our sins with His own blood, who knew no sin. The Bible says God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was tempted in every way as we are , yet without sin, therefore in giving His life on the cross for us He completely paid for all our sins and delivered us from hell and death and overcame the same when He rose from the dead. Jesus said,” Repent and believe the Gospel, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand” Repent means to turn from your ways, your sins, and turn around to God and His truth.
1John1: 5-9 says, “This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

My family, this is the truth. Please consider with prayer what I have shared with you and let God give you understanding for the time surely draws near for Jesus to return for His people.
I love you,
Rob
