Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

Watch and Pray

Matt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
If we don't pray we will enter into temptation because our flesh is weak. Jude said, Build yourselves up praying in the Holy Spirit. When you pray in tongues, and with the understanding for an hour, watching in faith, you build yourself up, you strengthen your inner man and you enter into warfare with the powers of darkness that are hindering you and working to destroy you and your loved ones. We have the victory in Jesus but we must fight the good fight of faith and overcome them. Also if we sow to the flesh we will reap corruption; Gal 6:8, but if we sow to the Spirit we shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Our flesh wars against the Spirit. That's why we must put it to death every day through the Spirit. Deny your fleshly desires to entertain yourself, take up your cross, the will of the Father for you in the Gospel, and follow Jesus. He leads us by the Holy Spirit to do the will of the Father, to do His Word. You cannot possibly do this without being fully baptized in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, Act 1:5  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The Problem

The problem in my life is not somebody else. The problem in my life is me. It is what is in my heart that comes out of my mouth that causes my problems.
The answer is not to try to change or remove the other person. The answer is to change me, for my heart to be changed by the power of God in Christ.
As I walk with another person my heart is exposed through conflict. If I will humble myself and continue to repent and forgive and love God and that person,
I will be changed and so will they.
Isaiah 53:6, All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
We can be changed because our iniquities were laid on Jesus, on the cross, where he loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. As we continue to repent and believe what He did for us we will be delivered from the evil that is in us and we will overcome the evil around us. 1John 1:7-10, But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Not only will the sins we have committed be forgiven, but we will be cleansed from the iniquity in our heart that brought them about. As we continue doing his Word, being taught by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, we will truly be Jesus' disciples, we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free.
We must be patient and not be ashamed as the Lord continues to work in us and others. Be of good cheer for he is with us. Nothing is too hard for him.

Our Great King

We are so blind, so deaf, so hard hearted because of all the iniquity filling the earth, all the rebellion, pride of life, deceitfulness of riches and lust for other things; we have lost sight of our God, how great and mighty He is. He said of Himself that He is a great King. We do not fear Him nor reverence Him as we should. Majesty; when was the last time some one even used the word. Majesty, worship His majesty. We would all do well to fall on our faces and cry out to Him for mercy and repent of our pride and hardness of heart and rebellion.
Ps 48, Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, in the City of our God, in the mountain of His holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the Great King.
Mal 1:14  But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great KIng, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
Job 40:7-14  Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
Luk 12:4 & 5  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Tribulation,Anguish,Glory,Honor,and Peace

Because someone does not believe God's Word, nor fear Him, that does not exclude them from the effect of it.
Rom 2:7-11,To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.

Please Consider!

Please consider! Your life is as a vapor. At any moment you could die from any number of causes. Then, immediately you are in eternity. Where will you go? Please think very seriously about it starting right now. Know this, it is only the mercy of God that any one of us is not dead and burning in hell right now. You may think I'm exaggerating but I'm dead serious. If you do not have faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who gave himself for your sins, if you have not repented and confessed Him as your Lord, you are still in your sins, and if you were to die now, you would go straight to the pit, to be tormented day and night for ever and ever, where the fire is not quenched and the worm never dies. Jesus said that three times in a row when He was warning us of hell. In Him is eternal life. If you have Him, you have the life, but if you don't, you are dead in your sins. Remember, He loved us so much, that He washed us from our sins in His own blood, and then He overcame death and hell when He rose from the grave, that you and I might live for ever with Him in His glorious kingdom. Repent now, while you still have breath, and call upon Him and you shall be saved from the wrath of God to come, and you shall inherit eternal life. There is nothing what so ever about this life that is worth spending eternity in torment for.

The City of God

Psalm 46:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the Earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the City of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her and that right early.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered His voice, the Earth melted.
The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations He hath made in the Earth.
He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the Earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the Earth.
The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Many people are troubled today about our economy, the state of our nation, and the world.
The question is: Where are we living?
If we are in Jesus Christ and he dwells in our hearts by faith, then He is our refuge and strength; He is our very present help in time of trouble.
If we are truly in Him, then we are already dwelling in the City of God, and the streams of the river of God, the Holy Spirit, are making us glad. The scripture says the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. In the world we have tribulation, yet we joy in tribulations, which are working in us patience, experience and hope, and we are not ashamed as the love of God is being shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We are in the world but we are not of the world. We are of the City of God! We are comforted by the Holy Spirit as He leads us in paths of righteousness for the Lord's sake, to overcome this world and the powers thereof. We are rejoicing in Him, doing the will of the Father from the heart, and He dwells in our midst, and we shall not be moved! Here it says that even if the Earth is removed, we will not fear! We must quiet our anxious thoughts, be still and know that He is God. He will be exalted in the Earth. He is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Set our affections on things above, not on things on the Earth, for we are dead and our life is hid with God in Christ.

Psalm 48:2&3
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole Earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the City of the great King. God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

Walking in the Truth

Jesus said,"If you continue in my Word, then you will be my disciples indeed and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free." He was not talking about reading the Bible 30 minutes a day. He was talking about reading it and meditating in the Word and doing it, walking in what the Lord has revealed to you by His Spirit. For example you read that He commanded us to... love our enemies, and do good to them that hate us. You commit to doing so in obedience to your Lord, and He sends one of your enemies down your path. Here's one you don't want to love. But as you humble yourself to submitt to God's Word and you begin to move forward in obedience and love this person, as hard as it may be, you are walking in the truth, and it is becoming a part of your being. You are overcoming hate and malice, bitterness, unforgiveness, and you are being set free. Never, ever, ever, must you ever, ever, ever put a man's word above the Word of God, yet some of you are doing this. Many teach things that are contrary to the Word, and they pervert the scripture to say something other than what it says. Remember Jesus warned us saying, "Take heed that no man deceive you..." As long as you hold to their words above the Word of God you are deceived and they are holding you in bondadge.
I know a brother who recently left a church like this, and one of the main things that the Lord Jesus led him to repent of is this very thing. He had the preacher's word exalted above the Word of God in his heart. Since he repented of this the Lord has been leading Him to walk in the truth of the Word, and he is being set free.

You Are Not Your Own

Rom 6:21-23: What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Your freedom from sin was purchased with the life; the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on His cross, and you belong to Him. You are not your own. You are His. He bought you for a price. You were delivered by Him out of your slavery to sin and death when you, by His mercy and grace, repented of your sins and believed the Gospel, and confessed Him Lord. You are now His servant. He is your life. He has given you everything pertaining to life and godliness, including His Word, His Holy Spirit, and His righteousness which is imputed to you because you believe the Gospel, are you then going to turn around and do your own will???
Jesus said in Matt 7:21, Not everyone who says unto me "Lord, Lord" shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. In another place He said, Why call you me "Lord, Lord" and do not the things that I say?
1Co 6:19&20: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
As you continue in Him, walking in His Word and in the Holy Spirit, seeking to be led by His Spirit, every day denying yourself, taking up your cross and following Him, (The Apostle Paul said "I die daily") you will bear fruit and you will become more and more holy,(seperated unto Him), and you will inherit eternal life. It is all in Him.
