Repent and Believe the Gospel!

Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

Continuing In The Word

If we are not continuing in the Word daily we will be deceived. Satan told Jesus lies when he was tempting Him, but he overcame them by speaking the Word by the Spirit. If He had believed any one of those lies He would have been destroyed and we would have no savior! Do you think Satan won't try to do the same with you? Reading christian books and watching christian movies and listening to christian music is not enough. We must be in the Word. We must be experiencing the Word. The truth must become a part of our very being. It is the Words of God, not the words of a man, that will make you free, as God reveals His Word to us by the Holy Spirit and then leads us in righteous paths to walk in it. For example, He reveals to you that you should love your enemies. Then He will lead you to an enemy. As you continue to yield to the truth of His Word and love that person you are experiencing the Word and it is becoming a part of you. Rom 5:3-5 And not only so
, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

When We Go

When we go in obedience to the Lord's command, He is sending us, we go in His authority. Then as we are being led by the Spirit of God, we are walking in faith, working by love, only doing what we see the Father doing, only saying what we hear Him saying. Then He will be with us, confirming His
Words with signs following, with gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed to us severally as He wills. There will be good works, good fruit, and God will be glorified. When we go in the power of our flesh, speaking our words, it profits no one anything. It is rebellion, not faith ,nor love, and the Holy Spirit will not bear witness to our words nor works. Yet many many people seem to delight in such meetings. We must let the Lord lead us in paths of righteousness to expose the darkness in us, and purify us with the washing of the water of the Word. Let Him break us of our pride and rebellion, that we may become a holy people, set apart unto Him, delighting to do the will of the Father. Then He will truely be glorified, and we will be truely blessed.

It is written in Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. It is also written in Eph 6:2&3 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee and thou mayest live long on the earth.
One of the things that is severly lacking in this generation is honoring of our fathers and mothers. Many children dishonor their parents, especially their fathers. Some have a meticulous record of every mistake and every offense they have commited and they hold them in derision and unforgiveness with absolutely no fear of God before their eyes. They scoff at the verses I just mentioned, yet it does not go well with them. I say unto them; forgive your dad and repent of your dishonoring him, even if he was wicked toward you, forgive him, fear God, humble yourself and honor him before God and see what He will do for you and your dad, if he is still alive. When you dishonor him you are actually cutting yourself off from many blessings that God ministers through fathers to their children, and through children to their fathers. Mal 4:5&6 Behold I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Because someone does not believe God's Word, nor fear Him, that does not exclude them from the effect of it. He is no respecter of persons;
Rom 2:9-11 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.
You do this as unto the Lord, and whether you realize it or not, when you dishonor your Dad, it is unto the Lord; you are dishonoring Him. The same goes for wives. It is unto the Lord that you honor your husband, trusting the Lord to bless you and honor you for so doing, and it is unto the Lord that you dishonor him.
Fathers and husbands bear the weight and responsibility before God. We must answer to Him whether we loved our wives and children and led them in the right way before God. If we have not, then we need to repent to them first and then to God. He will forgive us and change us.
What do you want, tribulation and anguish, or glory , honor, and peace? Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and do His Word unto Him, loving Him, doing good to those that hate you, and he will exhalt you in due season.

What is a Great Man of God?

1. A great man of God is a servant of all. Mat 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
2. A great man of God can do nothing without Jesus Christ. He denies himself every day, takes up his cross and follows Him. Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
3. A great man of God only does the will of the Father being led by the Holy Spirit. Mat 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
4. A great man of God prays without ceasing 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 1Th 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
5. A great man of God believes Him and He answers Him. Mark 11:24, Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you shall receive them, and you shall have them.
6. A great man of God does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedes out of the mouth of God.
7. A great man of God loves Him with all his heart, soul, and stregnth. He loves his brother, his sister, and his enemies. He blesses those who curse him, does good to those who hate him, and prays for those who use him. He forgives all those who sin against him. Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
8. A great man of God seeks only the honor of God and never
the honor of man, He fears God and not man and he trembles at His Word.Joh 5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only?Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
9. A great man of God is crucified with Christ, it is no longer he that lives but Christ lives in Him.Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
10.A great man of God is humble.Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
