Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Walking Circumspectly

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Today we’re going to talk about Walking Circumspectly. Let’s turn to Eph 5:1, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Verse 15,  See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. The word “circumspectly”: it means cautiously, warily, or discreetly. The original Greek of these verses reads this way: Take heed, therefore, carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise. “Take heed” means look, see, discern. “Carefully" means exactly, strictly, distinctly. So we need to take heed, therefore, carefully how we are walking, not as unwise, but as wise; and then, redeeming, redeeming the time, for the days are evil. “Redeeming” means to buy up, to ransom or to rescue from loss, the time.

Let’s turn to Rom 12:1&2, Hallelujah!  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The word “holy" means separated unto God: separated from this present evil world unto God. Present your bodies a living sacrifice; prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Let’s turn to Mat 7:21, Jesus said, Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

We need to redeem our time in order to do this. What are we doing with our time? We need to buy up, ransom, and to rescue from loss our time, for the days are evil. What are we spending our time doing? Are we taking the time to read the Word of God and meditate in it every day? Let’s turn to Psalm 1, Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law (His Word), he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Make no mistake: if you want to continue to live ungodly, you will perish. Are we taking enough time to pray? We’re talking about how we spend our time; we’re talking about redeeming our time, because the days are evil. Let’s turn to Daniel chapter 6. By the way, Daniel was a busy man. He was in charge of the whole kingdom of Babylon. Verse 10, Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. This tells us that Daniel, every day, for many years, knelt down and prayed toward Jerusalem; he was in the captivity in Babylon, and he prayed toward Jerusalem. And he took that time, three times a day: morning, and at noon, and at night, praying to his God. How much of our time is spent wasted on things that are unprofitable?; things that are evil; things that are defiling? Do we understand what the will of the Lord is?  Jesus said, in Revelation, He that overcomes… Do we really believe that we will overcome and be ready to meet Him, He’s coming very soon, if we are not walking circumspectly? The scripture says, Prove what the will of the Lord is. Jesus said, Only those that do the will of His Father will enter into the Kingdom of God. Are we discerning carefully what is going on around us?; what we are allowing in our lives? Our flesh loves to be entertained and to find out what is going on, what is new, etc.

Let’s turn to Gal 5:16,  I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. We must do this! Rom 8:12, Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Gal 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Jesus loved us so much that He literally gave Himself for us on the Cross to save us from our sins and give us eternal life in His glory.   Are you truly thankful?   Do you love Him?  It is your love for Jesus and the Father that will enable you to overcome this world; these evil days, your own flesh, and to walk circumspectly, understanding and doing the will of the Lord; to walk in the Spirit and trust Him and follow Him. 2 Peter 3:14, Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless… If you love Jesus, you will be diligent to walk circumspectly in this evil time. If you love this world, the love of the Father is not in you, and you won’t understand what His will is, and you won’t make it.  However you are walking, there is no condemnation: if you will humble yourself before the Lord, and come before Him in repentance and faith, acknowledging the truth of how you are walking, and ask Him for grace to help you to do this, and mean it: to put away the videos, the books, the pleasures of this life; the things of this present evil world, and to read and meditate in His Word, and pray and seek Him with all your heart. If you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him, and you will understand what His will is, and He will help you to fulfill it, if you are willing. But if you will not humble yourself before Him to turn from your idols and your covetousness, from the pleasures of this present evil world, to love Him and serve Him in truth, then you will perish. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Remember in the scriptures, that the Father has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. The Father loves us so much that He gave His Son for us to save us from this evil world, to save us from our sins and give us eternal life with Him in His glory! Turn from your wicked ways! Turn to Him!  1 Sam 12:24, Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

Thankyou for listening to 15 Minutes With Jesus at  roberthaymes.com . May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you who love Him in truth, Amen.

 Are You Converted?

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth, mercy unto you and peace, and love be multiplied.

Are You Converted? Let’s turn to Mat 13:1, The same day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the sea side. And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. And he spoke many things unto them in parables….verse 10,  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why do you speak unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; unless at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Now let’s turn to Mat 11:28, Jesus said, Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Our healing and our rest is in Jesus: in coming to Him, taking His yoke upon us, walking with Him and learning of Him. Jesus said, If any man will come after Me, let Him deny himself and take up his cross every day and follow Me. Are you doing that every day? Do you deny yourself, your own desires, your own understanding, every day and come before the Lord in prayer saying, Not my will, but yours be done Lord?

Let’s turn to Mat 16:13, When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? So they said, Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. He said to them, But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven. Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You! But He turned and said to Peter, Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men. Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Are you walking in love with Jesus, keeping His Words, as the Holy Spirit is leading you? Or is your heart in this world; do you love this present world? Is your heart full of cares and worries about the things in your life, or the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of this life? The Apostle Paul said,  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Do you see that? It’s through Him! It’s not because you are saved; it’s through Him. You are His and He is yours when you are converted. Religion is not good enough for you: you want him. You want to know Him and love Him and be loved by Him; walk with Him and serve Him and His Father with all your heart. It’s not everyone who says Lord, Lord, but they that do the will of His Father that will enter into Jesus’ Kingdom, because they love Him and they are converted and healed and established in Him, denying themselves, taking up their cross-the fellowship of His sufferings- and following Him- Jesus- every day. He has work for you to do in His Kingdom, but first you must be converted.

Peter was following Jesus; He was serving Him with all his heart. He even received revelation from the Father that Jesus was the Christ; the Son of the living God. When Jesus at that time, however, said that He must suffer and die and rise again from the dead, Peter rebuked Him and said, That be far from you Lord! This shall not happen to you! And Jesus had to rebuke Peter, saying, Get behind Me Satan! You are an offense unto Me, for you savor not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Peter needed to yet be changed. How about you? Are you savoring the things of men, or the things that be of God? Let’s turn to Mat 26:17, Now on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover? And He said, Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples. So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. Verse 26, And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is My body. Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom. And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Then Jesus said to them, All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered. But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee. Peter answered and said to Him, Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble. Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times. Peter said to Him, Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You! And so said all the disciples. Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane.

That night, when Jesus told Peter that he was about to deny Him three times, Peter refused to believe Him. He was totally convinced that he was ready to go to prison and die for Jesus’ sake. But when the hour came; when the temptation came upon him, there was something wrong in his heart, and he fell into it and openly denied Jesus, just as He said he would. Let’s turn to Luke 22:54, Having arrested Him, they led Him and brought Him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed at a distance. Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, This man was also with Him. But he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him. And after a little while another saw him and said, You also are of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not! Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a Galilean. But Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying! Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times. So Peter went out and wept bitterly.

Peter needed to be changed. And when he heard the cock crow, as Jesus had predicted; when Jesus turned and looked at him, he knew that what Jesus had said was true, and that he truly had denied his Lord, and he went out and wept bitterly. Peter had godly sorrow and it worked repentance in him because Jesus had interceded for him that in that trial his faith would not fail, and he was converted; he turned back and returned to Jesus with all his heart.

In John 21, after Jesus had risen from the dead, He appeared to the disciples as they were fishing and blessed them with a good catch. Then He fed them breakfast. Verse 12, Jesus said to them, Come and eat breakfast. Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, Who are You?—knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord; You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs. He said to him again a second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He said to Him, Yes, Lord; You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My sheep. He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep. Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.  This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, Follow Me.

After they had breakfast, and Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him, Peter was able to answer truly, Lord, you know all things, you know that I love you, and Jesus commissioned him to feed His sheep. No more fishing.

How about you? What has happened in your life since you were saved? Have you been faithful to Him? Is there something in your life, in your heart, that isn’t right? Let's turn to Mat 18: 1, At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?

Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Have you been converted? Will you humble yourself before God and be willing to become as a little child, totally dependent on Him for everything? Or do you want to be the greatest?

Interpretation of a message in tongues:

I am God Almighty. Those of you who are listening to My servant Rob this day, I want you to come to Me with all your heart. I want you to look unto Me, your Savior. I am your God. I am your King. I am coming soon, and I will establish My Kingdom on the Earth. So turn to Me now with all your heart and be converted, that I might bless you and make you what I’ve created you to be, says the Lord.

 A Precious Cornerstone

Greetings in the name of Jesus!  This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. Today we’re going to talk about A Precious Cornerstone.

Let’s turn to Isa 28:14-19, Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Hell we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves. Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I lay in Zion a Stone for a foundation, a tried Stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Hell will not stand; when the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it. As often as it goes out it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass over, and by day and by night; it will be a terror just to understand the report. 1 Cor 3:11,  For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. There is no other sure foundation; there is no other hiding place.

Psalm 32:1-11, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned into the drought of summer. I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin.  For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near Him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.   I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice upon the Cross and His resurrection from the dead; if you are continuing with Him with an upright heart; continuing in His Word; faithful to Him,  you will be able to stand when the overflowing scourge passes through. Jesus is a sure foundation, a tried Stone, a Precious Cornerstone upon whom He builds His Church.

Let’s turn to 1 Peter 2:1-12, Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, Behold I lay in Zion a Chief Cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame. Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, The Stone which the builders rejected has become the Chief Cornerstone, and a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense. They stumble, being disobedient to the Word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.  Verses 21-25, For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:  who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth, who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 2 Tim 2:19, Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

In Matthew 21 we see Jesus riding upon a donkey’s colt, entering triumphantly into Jerusalem. He entered into the Temple; He cleansed the Temple; He healed the blind and the lame, and the children worshiped Him crying, Hosanna to the Son of David! The next morning He came and taught in the Temple. Let’s turn to verse 23, Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority? But Jesus answered and said to them, I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things:

The baptism of John—where was it from? From heaven or from men? And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we say, From heaven, He will say to us, Why then did you not believe him? But if we say, From men, we fear the multitude, for all count John as a prophet. So they answered Jesus and said, We do not know. And He said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things. But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, Son, go, work today in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not, but afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir, but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him. Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them.

Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, They will respect my son. But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance. So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers? They said to Him, He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons. Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures: The Stone which the builders rejected has become the Chief Cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder. Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet. Whenever you come to Jesus with all your heart, in repentance and faith in His sacrifice for you on the Cross, He will begin to lead you in righteous paths to cleanse you and break you to pieces by His Words so that you will be conformed into His image. If you reject Him and will not come to Him, then He will fall upon you in judgment, and you will be ground to powder. In Luke 3:16-17, John the Baptist said, I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.

Let’s turn back to Isa 28:14-16, Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Hell we are in agreement. This is exactly what has been happening since the days of Jesus until now. Jesus said that many false prophets would arise and show great signs and wonders; and to take heed that you be not deceived. Many, many people are being deceived and making lies their refuge; they are hiding themselves under falsehood. They believe they have a covenant with death and an agreement with Hell, and that they will escape the overflowing scourge when it comes. Folks, it is coming! The wrath of God is coming. Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with Hell will not stand.  There is only one hiding place: His name is Jesus. He is the Stone which the builders rejected, who has become the Chief Cornerstone. Every knee shall bow to Him, and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father! It is not enough to say, Lord, Lord, and then go and do as you please. He must be Lord of you. He sacrificed Himself to save you from your sins and from the wrath to come. You are bought with a price; you are not your own! Will you continue to steal and lie and commit adultery, and then come and stand before Him in His house and call on His name? It won’t work! Jesus will say to you some day, Depart from Me, I never knew you, you who practice lawlessness.  Will you love Him? Will you repent of your sins, your pride and your rebellion? James 4:4-10, Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God; resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

 The Passover Lamb

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. God bless you everyone that is listening. Today’s program is called The Passover Lamb. Let’s turn to Gen 22:1-8, Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Here I am. Then He said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you. So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said to his young men, Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you. So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father! And he said, Here I am, my son. Then he said, Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. So the two of them went together. Let’s turn to Exo 12:1-14, Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man's need you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails. You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.  Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations… Verses 21-23,  Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.  And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.

For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. Verse 46, In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones.

Let’s turn to John 19:17-24, And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews, but, He said, I am the King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written, I have written. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be, that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.  Therefore the soldiers did these things.

Verses 28-37, After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst! Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, Not one of His bones shall be broken. And again another Scripture says, They shall look on Him whom they pierced. That scripture about His bones not being broken, is the same scripture from Exo 12:46:...neither shall you break a bone thereof.

John 6:51-58, Jesus said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, How can this Man give us His flesh to eat? Then Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever. John 1:29, The next day John (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Verse 36, And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!  Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world! 1 Cor 5:6-8, Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Christ our Passover! 1 Pet 1:17-21, And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. A lamb without blemish and without spot: He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world. So we see, in these scriptures that we’ve been reading, the Lamb of God, where Abraham, when Isaac asked Him, where is the lamb? said, God will provide Himself a Lamb. And then in Exodus: the Passover Lamb. Amen! Then we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death; crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.

Rev 5:6-14,  And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your Blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth. Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

saying with a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing! And every creature which is in Heaven and on the Earth and under the Earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Then the four living creatures said, Amen! And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

Jesus is the Passover Lamb. His Blood was shed on the Cross at Calvary to save us from death. We are saved through faith in His sacrifice of himself; through faith in His shed Blood shed for the remission of our sins. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. God so loved us that He gave His Son a living sacrifice for our sins to save us from the wrath of God to come. God provided for Himself a Lamb.

God made Him who knew no sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are, to become sin on the Cross, that we, through repentance and faith toward Him, might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Our sins were laid on Him on the Cross. He died for our sins, and He washed us from our sins in His own Blood, that through faith in His death and resurrection, and obedience to His Word, we might be made righteous, and escape the judgment that is soon coming upon the whole world.  Glory to the Lamb!

Jesus is the Lamb! Holy is the Lamb! For you are glorious and worthy to be praised, the Lamb upon your throne. And you will reign in righteousness forever; the Lamb upon your throne.

A Clean Heart

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth, mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Before we begin the program, I just want to take a moment to thank the Lord; to thank the Lord for this program: 15 Minutes With Jesus. We’ve been doing this program now for three years. On March 29, 2020 the Lord gave me this program. He said, I want you to do a 15 minute program. And He’s been with me all this time, and I just thank Him: I thank you Father; I thank you Jesus, for how you have been with me, doing this program now for three years. Every single week you’ve given me a program by your Spirit, except for two weeks: once when we were in the hospital, and once when we got Covid. I just give you thanks Father; I give you thanks Lord for this program, Amen.

Today we’re going to talk about A Clean Heart. Most of you know about King David, and how he sinned by taking Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite, for himself, and then having Uriah killed in battle. This thing that David did displeased the Lord and He sent Nathan the prophet to him to judge him. Before we go any further, it is very important to understand that God loved David, and David loved God. You can read about this in the Scriptures. God said that David was a man after His own heart. Let’s turn to 2 Sam 12:1-14, Then the Lord sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: "There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor. The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds. But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him. And a traveler came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare one for the wayfaring man who had come to him; but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him." So David's anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As the Lord lives, the man who has done this shall surely die! And he shall restore fourfold for the lamb, because he did this thing and because he had no pity." Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more! Why have you despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon. Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.' Thus says the Lord: 'Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.' "

So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." And Nathan said to David, "The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die." You can read on, and you will find that the child did surely die. After all this, David wrote Psalm 51. Let’s turn there now.

Psalm 51:1-19, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight—that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. Verse 17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise. Verse 7, Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Hyssop refers to the blood of the sacrificial lamb.

Let’s turn to Psalm 32:1-7, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord," and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Many people like to quote verses 1&2, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, sometimes leaving out the last part of verse 2, and in whose spirit is no deceit. If there is no deceit in your spirit, when the Lord’s hand comes upon you for your sin; when God judges you, or corrects you; when He shows you your sin, you will acknowledge your sin to Him; you will confess your sin to Him, and because of the sacrifice of His beloved Son Jesus on the Cross for you, He will forgive you your sin, and He will wash you in Jesus’ precious Blood, which He willingly shed for you; which will wash you thoroughly and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Then you can say with David, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. The Blood of Jesus covers your sin when you confess it to Him, with a broken and a contrite spirit: a heart deeply affected with grief. True repentance begins with godly sorrow for your sins, and finishes with a true change in your behavior. Then you can say with David, Restore to me the joy of your salvation.

But if you have deceit in your heart, you will be attracted to those who are speaking deceitfully. They say things such as, All your sins are forgiven, past, present, and future; you are under grace; sin is not imputed to you. All your sins are covered; you will not surely die. And as we said last week, this is the lie, and it is all through the Church of Jesus Christ in this hour. Remember: sin is not imputed to you when you truly repent of your sin and confess it to God. Righteousness is imputed to you through your faith in Jesus’ sacrifice for you. The Apostle John said, Little children, let no man deceive you: he who does righteousness is righteous. He who practices sin is of the Devil. Our Father in Heaven has made every provision for us to overcome sin through the gift of His Son, as we walk in the light, confessing our sins and turning from them. Psalm 24:3-5, Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 1 Tim 1:5, Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. The Apostle Paul said, I exercise myself daily to have a conscience void of offense toward God and man.  The whole purpose and fulfillment of all of this is love. God loved David, and David loved God, and after he was forgiven, he went on with Him, enduring His judgment, and remaining faithful to Him until his death. God so loved us that He gave His Son. Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends.  Jesus laid down His life, His sinless life, for us to save us from our sins because He loves us. Beloved, if God so loves us, we also should love Him, and love one another. If we love Him, we will keep His Words; we will love His Words. His Word is the truth. If we do not love Him, we will not receive the love of the truth, and God will send us strong delusion that we might believe the lie: You shall not surely die, that we all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Heb 10:19-31, Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience ( cleansed in the Blood of the Lamb),  and our bodies washed with pure water, (the washing of the water of the Word). Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Remember, Jesus said in Rev 3:19, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Song: Create in Me a Clean Heart

Create in me a clean heart O God

And renew a right spirit within me.

Create in me a clean heart O God

And renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from thy presence O Lord

And take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation

And renew a right spirit within me.
