Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Dumb Idols

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. (Jude 1:2)

Thank you Lord, Amen, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of all flesh, thank you Father, you are with us this day, all those who are trusting in You, you are our strength; you are our shield; you are our fortress; you are our high tower, our deliverer, our God in whom we will trust! Thank you Father.

Today’s program is called Dumb Idols. Let’s read Psalm 115,  Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth.  Why should the Gentiles say, So where is their God? But our God is in Heaven; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; eyes they have, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear; noses they have, but they do not smell; They have hands, but they do not handle; feet they have, but they do not walk; nor do they mutter through their throat. Those who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them. O Israel, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great. May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth. The Heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the Earth He has given to the children of men. The dead do not praise the Lord, nor any who go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord!

I just want to take a moment to worship God: Father, in Jesus’ name, we worship you; we praise your holy name, Father. You alone are God; you alone are worthy to be praised! Glory and honor to you Father! Glory and honor to you Lord Jesus! You came; you suffered, and you died for our sins, and on the third day the Father raised you from the dead. You washed us from our sins in your own Blood, Amen, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus! We just worship you Father; we worship you Jesus; we thank you for your sacrifice Lord. Thank you for your salvation Father in the death and resurrection of your Son. We just praise you and honor you and magnify your holy name Father. Thank you Lord, Amen.

Let’s turn to Psalm 20:6, Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy Heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright. Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.

Psalm 146:1, Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made Heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever, who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down. The Lord shall reign forever—your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!

Ok, let’s turn to Habakkuk 2:18, What profit is the image, that its maker should carve it, the molded image, a teacher of lies, that the maker of its mold should trust in it, to make dumb idols? Woe to him who says to wood, Awake! To silent stone, Arise! It shall teach! Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet in it there is no breath at all. But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the Earth keep silence before Him.

America is full of idols: politicians, businessmen, rock stars, country music stars, movie stars and preachers, to name a few. When you make an idol of them, or if you yourself allow yourself to be exalted and take on the honor and glory that belongs to God only, you have eyes, but you see not; you are blind to the glory and power of God; you cannot see that your help is only in God. You have ears, but you hear not; you cannot discern the voice of God, and you are not obeying His Word. You have hands, but the things you do are in vain; you have feet, but you are not walking in the right way, and you will stumble. In short, whatever you worship becomes your god.

Let’s turn to Deut 4:35, This is Moses talking to the children of Israel, To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him. Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on Earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His Words out of the midst of the fire. And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power, driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in Heaven above and on the Earth beneath; there is no other. You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.

The glory belongs to God. Let’s turn to Isa 9:6, For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Ok, let’s turn to Zec 6:12, Then speak to him, saying, Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the Lord; Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. This is a prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ and His coming Kingdom.

Let’s go to Php 2:5, Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the Earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The glory is given to Jesus, and He alone can bear it. Anyone who exalts himself to take what belongs to Him only shall surely fall; he cannot bear it. God is a jealous God, and we as His people are commanded to keep ourselves from idols.

Many people are glorifying our President Donald Trump these days and putting their trust in him, even to the point of building and erecting a 22 foot golden statue of him, holding up his fist, depicting the moment right after he was shot in the Pennsylvania rally. It was God, and Him alone, that saved Donald Trump that day from death, and He alone should be glorified for what He did. I thank God for President Trump and the good that he has done, but this is nothing but idolatry: glorifying him and not God. On top of that, having preachers come, supposed servants of God, and bless the statue. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of all flesh, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the one who saved Donald’s life that day, and it is a greater abomination for preachers to come and bless that statue.

In John 5:44, Jesus said, How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? Stop receiving all this honor and praise of men and women, and humble yourself before the living God to give Him the glory, and He will exalt you. It is not weakness to humble yourself before God, for He is your strength.

1 Cor 10:12,  Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

Jos 24:14, Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

 Exposing A Lie

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. (Jude 1:2)

Today we are going to expose a lie. I want you to turn to 1 Tim 2:11,  Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. Ok, let’s turn to 1 Cor 14:26, How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. Let your women keep silent in the churches… So, you see the context of this verse: it’s talking about speaking in church: teaching, prophecy, tongues, interpretation; these kinds of things. It says, Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in the church. Or did the Word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.

I recently heard a famous preacher teach from these verses, that the author of these words, the Apostle Paul, who was writing by the Holy Spirit, was talking to Jewish believers meeting in synagogues, and that in the synagogue they had a curtain going down the middle aisle separating the men from the women. The women used to holler across the aisle to their husbands, asking them concerning the message being spoken, “What did he say?” And so Paul was instructing that the women should keep silent and go home and ask their husbands at home. He then said that that was the custom and culture of Paul’s day, and for anyone to say that, in the 21st century, a woman should not be allowed to speak in the church, they are ignorant. By saying this, he was completely justifying women speaking and teaching in church.

First of all, the Apostle Paul was not speaking to Jewish believers meeting in synagogues. He was speaking to Timothy, his son in the Lord, and his fellow minister to the Gentile churches. Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles. In 1 Corinthians he was speaking to Gentile believers along with some Jewish believers meeting in churches established and built by the Lord Jesus Christ through him.

Second, and more importantly, the matter being addressed by the Holy Spirit in both scriptures, is women speaking and teaching and usurping the authority given to men in the church: men called of God and sent by Him, as were Paul and Barnabas, Silas and Timothy, the planters of these churches in the book of Acts. God has given authority to men in the church, according to His calling in their lives, as apostles, teachers, evangelists, prophets and pastors. There are no women pastors or teachers in the New Testament Church. The only woman teacher that I know of in the New Testament, Jesus referred to in Rev 2:18. Let’s read it,  And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Do you think we ought to fear the Lord a little more than we do?

So what is it? It is rebellion, first of all in the men who allow women to speak and give them place to teach. They are in rebellion against the Word of the Lord, as the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor 14:37, I’ll read it again, If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. Secondly, the women are themselves in rebellion, but it is the responsibility of the men, the elders and husbands, to teach them the truth, and not allow them to rebel against the command of the Lord. That is love for a woman. To allow them, and even encourage them in their rebellion is not love at all. What many of these men love is their money. They don’t want to offend the women, or they may lose half of their cash flow. They don’t even care if they offend the Lord; they don’t fear Him. But they will stand before Him some day and give account of their rejection and lies concerning His commandments, and the many people that they have justified in their rebellion. If any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

Thirdly, it is a matter of ruling. When you allow a woman to teach and to usurp the authority over the man, she is ruling the church. She is in rebellion and it will produce rebellion in the people. The Father is the head of Christ; Christ is the head of the man, and the man is the head of the woman, both in the family and in the church. That is God’s order established forever, and any perversion of that is rebellion, and His blessing is not with it. God loves women! God loves men! And He has an order that He has established that works for us, and we must humble ourselves before Him and walk in that order, and we will be blessed.

Let’s turn to 1 Cor 14:26 again, How is it then, brethren? Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. Or did the Word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant. Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.

In these verses, the men are commanded to keep silent, and not speak in tongues if there is no interpreter; the men who are prophets are commanded to keep silent if another prophet receives a revelation. Verse 33,  For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. In that whole context of verse 26; the whole purpose of these gifts, given by the Holy Spirit, when we come together, is the edification of one another: edification, or building up, exhortation, and comfort; all things being done decently and in order. In this whole context, the women are commanded to keep silent, when we come together; when the Holy Spirit is moving with gifts of psalms, or songs, teaching; prophesying, tongues and interpretation, and revelation, it is a shame for women to speak in the church, but to be under obedience. If you are a spiritual person, you will acknowledge that these things which Paul wrote are the commandments of the Lord, and if you love Him, you will obey them. If you will not acknowledge so; if you disobey them, you are not loving Him, and you are in rebellion. Jesus said, If you love Me, keep My commandments. And, If you keep My commandments you will abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

This same rebellion is all through the church, both men and women, and it is a major cause of the lack of the love of God and the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in the churches. This is the Apostles’ doctrine, and the early church continued steadfastly in it, and in fellowship, breaking of bread and in prayers. True fellowship is in love; in keeping the commandments of the Lord. The Apostle John wrote, For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not grievous. He that says I know Him and does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whosoever keeps His Word, in him truly is the love of God perfected. Hereby do we know that we are in Him.

 Women In The Church

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Lord! We thank you Jesus! We bless your holy Name! Thank you Lord, we bless your holy Name! Lord, we commit this program to you. I ask you to help people to clearly understand your Word; to understand what you are saying in this program, and to consider it with an honest heart, in Jesus name, Amen.

Today’s program is called, Women In The Church. Let’s turn to 1 Tim 2:1, Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Notice: God desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.

And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. Chapter 3, verse 1, This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. Notice: a man. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife…

Let’s turn to 1 Cor 14:26, How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. Verse 34, Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 1 Pet 3:1, Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the Word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror. Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

These are the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ concerning women in His Church, of which He is the Head, which He loves; which He gave Himself for upon the Cross, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. Men who rebel against the commandments of the Lord Jesus to allow women to speak in the Church; to be pastors and teach and usurp authority over men, do not love the Lord Jesus, nor do they love those women, nor the people they are speaking to. It is rebellion against the Lord. The prophet Samuel said to King Saul, when he disobeyed the commandment of the Lord, For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Let’s turn there, 1 Sam 15:22, So Samuel said: Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king. When we reject the Word of the Lord; the commandments of our Lord, we enter into rebellion and the sin of witchcraft. Witchcraft seeks to get things done by domination, intimidation or manipulation, things that the person wants, not what the will of  God is. It is never love. Love is always seeking to obey God and keep His Words. Wherever you have women in authority in the Church, speaking and teaching, it is not God’s authority; it is rebellion and witchcraft is in operation. 1 Cor 11:1, Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Do you see that? That is God’s order. Jesus is completely subject to His Father; God is His head, and the man is to be completely subject to Christ, and the woman to the man.

That’s how God’s authority is set up. Men who allow their wives to rule over them are in rebellion, and they don’t love their wives or their family. If you are such a man, fall on your face and cry out to God in repentance, and ask Him to deliver you and change you and make you a man, and help you to truly love your wife. Repent of your rebellion. There is no way that your authority as a husband and a father will work properly if you are in rebellion yourself. Everything is out of order. God will help you when you truly surrender to Him to do His will and to keep His Words.

Women rule because the men reject God’s Words. Isa 3:8, For Jerusalem stumbled, and Judah is fallen, because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to their soul! for they have brought evil upon themselves. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.

Let’s turn to Rev 2:18, And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Verse 20, …you suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Verse 23, I will give unto every one of you according to your works. The Lord knows your works, the good and the evil. If you will not repent, man or woman, of your rebellion and witchcraft, the Lord Jesus will judge you; He will give unto every one of us according to our works. Notice: Jesus was speaking to the leaders of the Church at Thyatira; He had something against them, because they allowed that woman to teach and to seduce His servants. The Lord has something against you: all you men, to whom He has entrusted the leadership of His Church, who are allowing women to teach and to usurp authority over men and to seduce His servants. You who are rejecting His commandments, given by His Apostles, to let this go on in the Church, He has something against you, and unless you repent of your rebellion and set things in proper order, He will deal with you according to your works. If we would judge ourselves we should not be judged.

The Lord Jesus is going to have a spotless Bride; a glorious Church, without spot or wrinkle, through the washing of the water by His Word. Those whom He loves He rebukes and chastens. Be zealous therefore and repent! Do you love Jesus? Will you obey His Words? He said, He who keeps My commandments, he it is who loves Me. He who keeps My commandments shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. True liberty; true freedom for men and women is in loving God and keeping; doing His Words; His commandments. The end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned. The love and faith in a place of rebellion is feigned; it is not genuine. The Apostle Peter said, Purify your souls by obeying the truth through the Spirit.

Women, remember the words of the mother of your Lord, when the angel Gabriel came to her and told her she was going to be the mother of the Son of God. Mary said, Behold the handmaiden of the Lord! Be it unto me according to your Word.
