Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

Take Heed To The Word Of God

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. (Jude 1:2)

Thank you Heavenly Father; thank you Heavenly Father; we thank you Father for your Word. Your Word is the truth. Jesus said so in John chapter 17, when He was praying to you; He said, Father, sanctify them through your truth; your Word is truth. Father, thank you for your Word that you have given us; you have preserved it, according to your Word, for thousands of years, that we might have it available to us,

Amen.

Today’s program is called, Take Heed To The Word of God. Ok, let’s turn to 2 Pet 1:16,  For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And we heard this voice which came from Heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic Word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. You have to take heed, if you want to do well, to do the Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit. He is the teacher: 1 John 2:27, But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. Jesus said that He was going to send the Holy Spirit, and He said, He will teach you all things. Holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

As you take heed, the light will shine in your heart, as in a dark place, and the day will begin to dawn in your heart, and the day star, the first light, will begin to shine. Jesus said that what comes out of our mouths is what defiles us, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. He gave a list of the evil in our hearts. So what is in our hearts determines our lives. He also said in John 8:31, If you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. The Pharisees answered Him, We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, You will be made free? Jesus answered them, Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. The evil things in our hearts coming out of our mouths have us in bondage. But as you continue to take heed to His Words, the Word of God will begin to shine in your heart, and the Son of God, who is the truth, will make you free from that bondage; slavery to sin.

Taking heed involves doing, not only hearing. As you continue in Jesus’ Words; in His Sermon On The Mount, to do them; yes, you can do them, you will be building your house upon the Rock, and it will stand through the coming storm. The storm is coming! Even if you hear His Words, but if you do not do them in your own life, your house will be upon the sand, and it will not stand; you will be destroyed by the storm: the trials that are coming.

1 John 1:1,That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, (and with the Father and with His Son), and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Darkness and light- life and death.

John chapter 3; Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, verse 14, And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Let’s go to John chapter 6, verse 47, Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from Heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, How can this Man give us His flesh to eat? Then Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever. These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can understand it? When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, Does this offend you? What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The Words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life. The Word of God with the Spirit is life. In John chapter 4, when Jesus was talking to the woman at the well, He said to her, God is Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Genesis chapter 1, verse 1; the very beginning of the Bible, In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. The Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.  Then God said, Let there be light; and there was light. The Spirit of God was moving; the Father willed; the Word of God spoke, and it was. All things were made by Him, and without Him: the Word, was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness does not comprehend it. Verse 14 of John 1, And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

As we continue in His Word, and the light is shining in our hearts, we become light ourselves. In Mat 5:14, Jesus said, You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. Jesus said that He is the light of the world, and as we continue in Him, we become lights in the world. He said, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. The Word of God in your heart will bring forth good works as you continue in the Holy Spirit, and you will be glorifying the Father. If you do not continue in His Word, there is nothing to stop the darkness of this world from overtaking you. We need to walk in the light, continuing in His Word, and we will have fellowship with the Father, and with His Son, and with one another, our fellowship is in the light, and the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, will cleanse us from all sin, confessing our sins to God and one another.

Jesus said, I have come a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My Words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words, has that which judges him. The Word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority, but the Father who sent Me, He gave Me a command: what I should say and what I should speak, and I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak. We have a more sure Word of prophecy, to which we do well to take heed.
