Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 The Cares Of This World

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Lord, we thank you this day! Praise the name of the Lord! The joy of the Lord is our strength, hallelujah! We thank you for the joy of the Lord in our hearts this day.

We pray that you would bless this program; grant us ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Today we’re going to talk about The Cares Of This World.

Let’s turn to Mark 4:1-9, And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea. Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching: Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. In the King James Version it says, no fruit. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop, or fruit,  that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. And He said to them, He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Verse 13, And He said to them, Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the Word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the Word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the Word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the Word's sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the Word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful. Notice: the Word becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the Word, accept it, in the King James: receive it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. The cares choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful. So also with the lust of other things, and the deceitfulness of riches. The cares of this world, the lust of other things, the deceitfulness of riches: all these things are of this world. Jesus said, I have chosen you out of the world; you are not

of this world, even as I am not of this world. 1 John 2:15-17, Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. If any man will be Jesus’ disciple, let him deny himself every day and take up his cross: where he is crucified to the world and the world to him: dead to the world, and follow Him. My sheep hear My voice, Jesus said, and they follow Me to do the Father’s will. He that does the will of God abides forever. Build yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Put to death the deeds of the flesh through the Spirit. Rom 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Verses 12-14, Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Let’s go to Php 3:18-21, For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Php 4:6&7, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. God wants you to have His peace. There is no peace to the wicked. There is peace only in Jesus, when you come to Him and cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. If you will confess your sins to Him, because of His sacrifice upon the Cross for them, He is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you of all unrighteousness and He will give you His peace. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Pro 4:23  Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.  What are you sowing in your heart? For whatsoever you sow, so shall you reap. Mat 12:33-37, Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. If you will sow good things in your heart, you will reap good things. If you continue to sow the Word of God in your heart, with the instruction and guidance of the Holy Spirit, teaching you and leading you in doing it, washing you and cleansing you and delivering you from the evil therein, your heart will be changed. Either make the tree good: you can make the tree good, and it’s fruit good, or else the tree corrupt. If you continue sowing the evil things of this corrupt world in your heart, on your cell phone, on the internet, on the TV, etc, you will make the tree corrupt, and it’s fruit corrupt.

We must treasure the good, and make the necessary sacrifices to get it into our hearts and be established in the truth of God’s Word. His Word is the truth. We must put to death, put out of our lives, the works of the flesh through the Spirit, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Mat 15:10-20, When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying? But He answered and said, Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch. Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us. So Jesus said, Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man. What is in your heart will come out of your mouth, and it will direct your life. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. You need to acknowledge your heart: is it a wayside heart, a stony heart, a thorny heart, or a good heart? Pray for God to change your heart.

2 Tim 2:19-22, Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Follow after love: the love of God revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own Blood. Meditate in His love. Believe the love that God has for you. Let it fill your heart. Confess the Word of God: that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends. Jesus laid down His life for you.   Lay down your life for Him.   Ask God; seek Him to fill your heart with His love, and let it be manifested in your life, doing good as you have opportunity. The Lord will lead you in doing good by His Spirit if you have a willing heart.

Let’s turn to Col 3:1-17,  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

 The Apostles’ Doctrine

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Lord. We thank you for this program; Father, we thank you. I pray now, Father, in Jesus’ name, that you would open our ears to hear what you are saying; that you would open our understanding, as we speak about The Apostles’ Doctrine. In Acts 2:42 & 43 it is written, concerning the early disciples, And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

They continued steadfastly: the word means, earnest towards, to persevere, to be constantly diligent, to adhere closely to, or to attend continually upon; that’s what we need to do with the apostles’ doctrine.

I’m going to be speaking a lot from the Epistle to the Ephesians, so if you would like to turn to Ephesians, chapter 1,  Eph 1:1-23, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

He has made us accepted in Jesus by His grace.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on Earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

The Holy Spirit is given to us as a down payment on our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession. That is the first resurrection, when Jesus returns in the clouds: the hope of glory, when all the dead in Christ will be raised from the dead, incorruptible, and we will be joined together with the Lord, and thus we shall ever be with the Lord.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

That’s what we need. We need a Spirit of wisdom and revelation, by the Holy Spirit, in the knowledge of Jesus.

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Because He humbled Himself, Jesus, to the death of the Cross, the Father has given Him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, in Heaven, on the Earth, and under the Earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Glory!

Chapter 2, verses 1-10, And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

That’s where we were: dead in trespasses and sins.

But God, who is rich in mercy, Hallelujah!, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

and remember what we just read, far above all principality, power, might and dominion, and every name that is named ! Hallelujah!

that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We are not saved by our good works, but, once we are saved, God will give us good works by His Spirit; He will lead us by His Spirit in doing good, especially to those who are of the household of faith, and to the poor.

Verses 19-22, Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

That is the Church: a holy temple in the Lord; a dwelling place of God.

Chapter 3, verses 14-21, For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

and this is the only way that this is going to work, you have to be rooted and grounded in love,

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Chapter 4, verses 11-16, And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

They’re out there: many false prophets. Jesus said, Take heed that you be not deceived.

but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Chapter 5, verses 1-11, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Verses 15-21, See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

This is the apostles’ doctrine. If we are going to receive our inheritance, our glorious inheritance in Jesus Christ, we must continue in it steadfastly. These words in the epistles of Paul and Peter and John, and the writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, James and Jude, are God’s Words, which He gave them by His Holy Spirit. Holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. They are God’s Words. It is His doctrine, which He has graciously preserved for us who are called in Him, that we might read it and understand it, with the help and instruction of the Holy Spirit, and give ourselves wholly and diligently to it, that we might be partakers of His grace through the Gospel, and receive our inheritance in His glorious Kingdom: the riches of of the glory of His inheritance in the saints: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Let no man deceive you with empty words, as Paul said, the wrath of God is coming upon all the children of disobedience. In Romans 2, he said,  who will render to every man according to his works.

2 Cor 5:15, and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

 Following Jesus

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes with Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Jesus! Praise your holy name! We praise you Father in Jesus’ name! I pray right now for every person that is reading this , that you would open their understanding; that you would give them grace to receive the things that you have given me to speak to them by your Holy Spirit, Amen!; that they may understand what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Thank you Father, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today we’re talking about Following Jesus. The word “Christian” : it means a follower of Jesus. It doesn’t mean a church goer; it doesn’t mean a religious person; it doesn’t mean a person that can quote the Bible; it doesn’t mean a lot of things that people do in the name of Jesus; it means a follower of Jesus. Jesus said, I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.  Are you following Jesus? Let’s turn to Mat 16: 24-27, Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to their works. Deny yourself! Deny your own desires; your own understanding; your own plans. Lay that down. This is every day, Jesus said. Take up your cross: the fellowship of His sufferings, and follow Me. Jesus suffered as He followed the Father, and we will suffer as we follow Him.

Let’s turn to Psalm 23, The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. What a wonderful psalm this is! It all starts with verse 1: The Lord is my Shepherd… I am one of His sheep. Jesus said, My sheep hear My voice, and they follow Me. And He leads us in all these things: He restores our souls by leading us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. I don’t have time to do a study on Psalm 23; I recommend it: meditate in it, and let God give you understanding.

Let’s turn to 1 John 2:27&28, the Apostle John said, But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. John 8:31&32, Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. We can see here, with these two scriptures, that the Holy Spirit is the One who teaches; the One who opens the Word of God to us. So, if you combine them, you see that we continue in the Word with the Holy Spirit, and we will be Jesus’ disciples indeed. He said, If you love Me, keep My Words. So, the Holy Spirit will teach us His Word, and He will lead us in keeping it; He will help us to keep Jesus’ Words; to continue in them, and, as we do, we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free. Jesus said, in this same place in John chapter 8, Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Do you see that? If you continue in sin you are a slave of sin, but Jesus will set you free, if you will continue in His Word, with the Holy Spirit teaching you; revealing it to you, and leading you to do it every day. You come into a situation, and you deny yourself; you deny your own understanding; you yield to the Holy Spirit to do the Words of Jesus in that situation, and you will overcome.

In John 14 Jesus told His disciples that He was going away to be with the Father, and He told them that He would not leave them alone, but He would send the Comforter. He said, If you love Me, keep My commandments, and I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever: the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. Notice that. He said, I will not leave you orphans: I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Verse 26&27, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. So Jesus promised His disciples that He was going away to be with the Father, but He would send another Comforter, and that's the Holy Spirit; that He would be with us forever, and He would lead us into all truth. And then He said, I won’t leave you alone, I will come to you! Jesus leads us by the Holy Spirit. How do we follow Jesus? By yielding to the Holy Spirit and letting Him lead us to follow Jesus to do the will of His Father every day. We must be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Jesus told His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. Acts 1:4&5, And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, which, He said, you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Have you received the Holy Spirit? Have you been baptized in the Holy Spirit, yielding your tongue to speak in another language? The Apostle James said that the tongue is like a rudder of a ship: it directs the ship, even in the mighty waters. So it is with our tongue. So the first thing you yield to the Holy Spirit is your tongue to speak in another language, that He may direct your way.

Let’s turn to Php 3:7-14, the Apostle Paul said, But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,  hear this: forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Now let’s turn over to Jude 1:20&21,  But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Verses 24&25, Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, Who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. The Holy Spirit, as you pray in tongues, will lead you in intercession, in warfare, and worship. Without Him, you can do nothing. As you pray in tongues, He will lead you in reaching forward to that which is before; He will lead you in prayer; things you don’t even realize you need to pray for. He will lead you. Submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you. Yield to the Holy Spirit and He will lead you to follow Jesus and do the will of His Father every day. The devil will resist you as you sincerely seek to follow Jesus, so you must stay with Jesus, continuing instant in prayer; continuing in His Word and submitting to; yielding to the Holy Spirit and resisting the devil with the Word of God spoken by the Spirit: the sword of the Spirit. We all have to overcome the devil and the flesh in our own lives that we may enter into our inheritance in Jesus. Remember, Jesus has already overcome, and if we will continue to follow Him, we will overcome too.  In Revelation 2&3 Jesus made many promises to those who overcome. The Scripture says, They overcame him, the devil, by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. This is how we will overcome: faith in Jesus’ Blood; the righteousness imputed to us who believe in His sacrifice for us upon the Cross; that Jesus literally paid for our sins with His own Blood, and delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Did you know that Jesus is dear to the Father? Did you know that all the Father’s children are dear to Him? So stand up! and be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and follow Him as He leads you by His Holy Spirit to love Him and keep His Words; to do the Father’s will, that you might bring glory to His name, and inherit His promises.

 What I Know About Jesus

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Lord! We give you thanks Lord! Thank you for this day. Thank you for this program. Thank you Lord. Today we’re going to talk about what I know about Jesus. I’m going to share some things with you that I know about Jesus. That’s what He told me this morning: He said He wanted me to talk about what I know about Him.

I’m going to read Mat 11:28-30, Jesus said, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. What I know about Jesus: I know He loves me. How do I know He loves me? Not only by what is written in His Word, that He has done for me and you, but by experience  I know His love: by the things He has done in my life. And so I know the Father’s love, and that is everything: to know His love. Praise God! Jesus has told me several times, over the years, just when I really needed to hear it, that He loves me.

Last night He told me, “Don’t be afraid Rob, I love you.” I’m telling you it made all the difference. This is not just a story written in King James English; this is the truth; this is love: the love of God poured out on the human race, that God so loved us that He gave His only beloved Son to suffer unbelievable torment and pain on the Cross at Calvary for us, when we were dead in trespasses and sins, and we did not care about Him at all, to pay for all our sins, and to deliver us out of darkness and bring us out into His marvelous light; to wash us and cleanse us in His own Blood and change us into holy people, so that we could be with Him. Do you know that God wants us to be with Him? He loves us! He is not willing that any of us should perish, but that we all might come to repentance; that we all might come to Him and take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. For He is meek and lowly of heart, and we shall find rest for our tormented souls, our weary souls, when we know Him. He wants us to know Him! He wants us to fellowship with Him in His joy and His glorious Kingdom forever! He wants that so much; He loves us so much, that He gave His Son to die for us. And Jesus loved the Father so much and us so much that He did it! He did it! He died for us and He rose again from the dead! He overcame sin and sickness and death for us; for all of us who will repent and believe what He has done!, and come to Him. I know He loves me; He has proven it to me many, many times.

I also know that He is a righteous judge, and that He is going to reward every one of us according to our works. After He has done so much for us; loved us so much; suffered so much to save us from our sins and our destructions, if we turn away from Him; if we refuse to come to Him; if we will not serve Him; if we choose to continue in our sins and reject His righteousness, we condemn ourselves, and He will carry out His righteous judgment upon us. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. This is the condemnation: that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds are evil. Jesus said, Everyone that does evil hates the light and will not come to the light, because his deeds will be exposed and reproved, but he that does truth comes to the light that his deeds may be made manifest that they are worked in God.

Let’s turn to 1 John 1:1-10,  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.  Because He so loved us, we also ought to love Him and love one another. We ought to walk in love, denying ourselves every day; taking up our cross and following Him. If we love Him, we will yield to His Spirit as He leads us to keep His Words and do the Father’s will every day. And we will love others; we will forgive others. I know Jesus wants us to love one another: to give each other some grace, and learn to walk together with Him.

Some other things I know about Jesus: He loves His Father; He only does what His Father wants Him to do. He is faithful. What He has promised He will do, if we will meet His conditions. He is definitely patient and longsuffering with us. He knows our hearts, and He will wait until He can have mercy on us. Just think about that for a minute.

He will endure our wicked ways until such a time as He can bring us to repentance and cleanse us of the evil, so that He can bless us with His righteousness. I know He loves us. I know He has been through a lot of suffering for us, not only on the Cross, but also dealing with our stubborn, stiff-necked, rebellious ways. I know that any person who will humble themselves before Him, and come honestly before Him, and ask for mercy: I know that He will grant it; He will help them. I also know that those who will not humble themselves before Him will not find His grace, and will ultimately be destroyed if they do not repent. I know He will help you if you will ask Him. He will show you how to do things. He will give you understanding; He will bless you with many good things, even in this life in this evil world, if you will humble yourself and ask Him. He said, Ask, and you shall receive; seek and you will find; knock, and it shall be opened! For everyone who asks receives, and to him who knocks, it shall be opened, and he who seeks Him with all their heart: they will find Him!

I know that Jesus is a great King: the King of kings, and that He will soon be returning to this Earth to establish His throne in Jerusalem and He will reign over the whole Earth until all His enemies are put under His feet. I know also that He is our great and merciful High Priest who presently is at the right hand of the Father on His throne in Heaven, and He makes intercession for us before the Father. I believe with all my heart

that there have been critical times in my life that He has prayed for me to the Father, and interceded for me, and the Father listened to Him and decided to grant me mercy, and that’s the only reason that I am alive upon the Earth today, and that I still have hope of eternity with Him. I know that He is soon coming in the clouds in all His glory, and the glory of the Father, with all the Heavenly angels, and those who have died in Christ shall hear His voice and be resurrected from their graves into a glorious, eternal, incorruptible body like His body, and we will be carried by the angels to meet Him in the clouds. Hallelujah! I have this hope, this blessed hope!, and I am purifying myself, that I may be counted worthy to attain to that first resurrection. How about you? Let’s turn to Php 3:7-13, the Apostle Paul said, But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  I want to skip down to verses 20&21, For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,   (Are we eagerly waiting for Jesus? Are we preparing ourselves to meet Him? We’re going to meet Him!)  who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Thank you Lord. Father, we give you thanks for this message today. If you have anything that you wish to speak, Father, Amen. Thank you Lord, Amen! We worship you; we praise you; we thank you. Praise God, Amen.

Interpretation of a message in tongues:

I Am God Almighty. Those of you listening to My servant Rob this day, know that I love you! I proved My love for you when I gave My Son Jesus to suffer for your sins on that Cross. That’s how much I love you. Meditate on that! Think about that! Understand My love for you! Turn to Me with all your heart; turn to Me now! For the day is soon coming when My wrath is going to be poured out on all the unrighteous; on all those who have rejected My Son. So turn to Me now, says the Lord.

 Your Faith

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Today you are reading the second of two messages by Brother Dave Hickman. I’ve known Dave since 1978. We were together in music ministry for several years in the 80’s. I’ve known Dave for a long time. God has given him many gifts; He’s given him many songs by His Spirit, and He’s given him a lot of understanding in the Word of God. Dave graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute in the 70’s, and he’s been serving the Lord ever since. The first message was The Pillar And Ground Of The Truth, which we published two weeks ago. Today’s message by Dave is Your Faith. Brother Dave:

Jesus Christ and Him crucified! And He’ll send you forth out into the world, every day; every week, and you can be used of Him to bring glory and honor to the name of Jesus; to please the Father. Hallelujah!, And what pleases Him? Without faith it’s impossible to please Him: your faith!, your faith pleases Him! Thank God. And we’ll talk about your faith next. Amen.

The Law was added that sin might abound. What’s sin? Sin is the transgression of the Law. The Law was added because of sin as a school master to bring us unto Christ. So, what does the Law say? The Law has an office, and it has two things to speak to you:  One thing it says is, You’re a sinner. The other is, Once to die, then the Judgment. It says, Death is your condemnation. That’s all the Law has to say. That’s it’s only office. The Law can’t help you be righteous; it cannot help you be holy. The only thing that can help you is the Throne of Grace. It says, Come boldly to the Throne of Grace that you might find mercy and grace to help in time of need. The only thing that can help you is grace, and grace, if you’ll look at Eph 2:8, is defined. God defined grace clearly. It says it’s the gift of God. Amen. It’s not of yourself; it’s the gift of God; it’s not of works. So that is the very definition of grace: the gift of God. You know, it talks about the Gospel of the grace of God. Amen. It says, For God so loved that He gave… You know, the Gospel is a love gift; Christ is a love gift. The Son of God loved us and gave Himself for us: a love gift. See, it says, God is love. Amen. That’s what God wants us to think of Him: that He’s love! Amen. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. According to your faith, your faith, be it done unto you. Amen. God responds to faith; He responds to your faith. Without faith it’s impossible to please Him. Faith pleases God. Faith glorifies God. You think if it pleases Him, do you think it’s going to glorify Him? Absolutely it will glorify Him when you believe Him. It says, With the heart man believes unto righteousness; with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. See, faith, out of the abundance of a heart of faith the mouth speaks; confesses Christ: Jesus Christ and Him crucified. He was crucified for our sins, Amen. That’s the Gospel, and God, by the power of the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead!, giving us the gift of His righteousness; justifying the whole world, praise God! Amen. The whole world was condemned to death in Adam; the whole world was justified in Christ. How? When you receive it by faith! It’s the gift of God, the gift of God, with His out-stretched and open hands to all the world! It has to be received by faith, being mixed with faith in them that hear it. You mix it in your heart, and you keep it in your heart! You don’t let it go! You grab hold; you lay hold! Amen. Faith lays hold on eternal life: it’s in Jesus. He that has the Son has life; he that has not the Son does not have life. See, it glorifies God when you lay hold on eternal life. If you sin, you come to that Throne of Grace and receive mercy. And what is that? That’s faith, coming for that mercy, Amen. And your sins are cleansed when you confess your sins. He’s faithful and just: you come to that Throne of Grace; you confess your sins; He’s faithful and just to forgive you of those sins, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Amen. That’s a promise of God! Don’t destroy your own heart by not believing that promise! Don’t keep your sins by not believing that promise, through unbelief; not coming to Him; being afraid to come to Him for whatever reason: for fear of death all their life subject to bondage. Don’t allow that bondage to keep you from coming to Him. Come boldly to the Throne of Grace!, and find grace and mercy to help you in the time of need. When is the time of need? Always!, it’s always the time of need! Amen. Stay needy!, and you’ll keep getting His grace; you’ll live in His grace. Amen, thank you Jesus! So faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Jesus said, If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Continue in that Word. Hang on to that Word. Lay hold on eternal life; continue in it, and you will live it! Amen. I found of my children walking in truth: that truth will be made manifest out of your mouth and out of your heart, and in your ways, and in your walk, Amen. You’ll be walking in it. The world can see it! They’ll see that you're in Christ; you’ll be manifesting the life of Christ, and they’ll see it! And they will fear, or they will hate you, like they hated Him. Jesus said, They hated Me before they hated you. When you have that truth and that life, and you have that light of the glorious Gospel shining in your heart, and your eyes and your face has it on it, the world can see you, and they fear you, but they will hate you and persecute you as they can. So what do you do? Keep on loving that truth; keep on coming to Jesus. Amen. Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord in your heart, Amen.

Song: In Heavenly places: you know He’s seated us with Him, far above this world. Abide in Him, seated in Heaven, not on this Earth, but in Heaven, far above this world, in Heavenly places, in Heavenly places, seated us with Him, in Heavenly places, far above this world, in Heavenly places, far above this world, Oh, in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you Lord that we are risen with you. Amen. We are risen with you. Amen. Our old man was crucified with you. God included us in the death of His Son. We were there, Hallelujah!, amen, by the grace of God. He included us in the death of His Son. In His crucifixion our old man was crucified with Him. We died with Him, Hallelujah! We were buried with Him, down into the water, and we are risen with Him!, up out of the water, Amen. Even as God, by the power of the Holy Spirit raised Christ from the dead, He raised us with Him! And He’s seated us with Him in Heavenly places, far above every principality; every power; every name that is named, not only in this world, but the world to come, Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! Amen, and seated us with Him in Heavenly places in Christ. And that’s where we’re seated now, and our angels, it says, always look on the face of the Father. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! Amen. And we are His anointed. Hallelujah! There’s only one anointing it says. Hallelujah! Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There’s one Body; there’s one Spirit; there’s one hope of your calling; there’s one anointing; there’s one Spirit; there’s one anointing: it’s the Holy Spirit. That’s the only anointing in the Church. Praise God! If you’re anointed, it’s with the Holy Spirit, praise God! Hallelujah! And we’re seated with Him in Heavenly places, far above this world. Thank You Jesus! And that’s the entire Body of Christ. And we’re members of that Body, in particular. Amen. So come in faith, nothing doubting and put your hope in Him. It says, our faith and our hope is in God. Amen. Your faith!, your hope is in God! Praise God! Thank You Jesus! Our faith and our hope is in God our Savior, thank You Jesus, in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
