Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Ungodly Men

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes with Jesus. Today we are going to talk about Ungodly Men. Let’s turn to the Book of Jude, verses 1-25,  Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 15;1-4, Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that Word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures… Getting back to Jude, verse 4, For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you! But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Verse 11, Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. The way of Cain is the way of hatred. Cain hated his brother. He was envious of him, and he killed him. We have wicked men, ungodly men, in the Church, that walk in the way of Cain. They hate their brother! They would just as soon as he was dead. And they do things in hatred against their brother or their sister. We also have men that walk after the error of Balaam, men and women, for reward. They speak evil lies for money. They speak what the people want to hear. They don’t care about the people. They act like they love you; they act like they care so much for you, but they don’t care about you. They want your money. They are greedy. That’s the way Balaam was. He did not care about the Children of Israel. He taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before them: to cause them to commit fornication and to worship idols. These wicked men do the same thing. They are in the Church. Then we have those that are of the gainsaying of Korah. They are rebellious; they are disputing; they are disobedient; they strive; they strive with the priest of God, the one whom God has truly sent. Jesus said, He who despises whomsoever I send despises Me, and he who despises Me despises Him who sent Me. He also said, Now have they hated both Me and My Father. We have these wicked men. They hate the real men of God; they slander them; they fight against them, and they hate God, but they act like they love Him. They speak great swelling words.

Let’s turn to Rev 2:12-14, Jesus was speaking to the seven Churches in Asia, and He said,  And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. In verses 20-23, speaking to the Church in Thyatira,  Jesus said,  Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols; the same thing, and this goes on in the Church of Jesus Christ today, and Jesus here is speaking to the Church, And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. And Jesus Christ said,  I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Speaking to the Church in Sardis, in verses 5&6 of chapter 3, Jesus said, He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

2 Peter 2:12-22, But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man's voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lasciviousness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; this is the truth folks! These ungodly men promise you liberty, but they themselves are the slaves of corruption. For by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. Do you see this? These are people who escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of Jesus! They were saved, and then they were entangled again in ungodliness, and the latter end is worse than the beginning.  For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit. and, a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire. You see, these people were of God; they were saved, but they turned away. They went back to their vomit, and, guess what, their names are blotted out of the Book of Life. Again, going back to the Church in Sardis: How did his name get into the Book of Life? He was born again; he was made alive in Christ, but he defiled his garments and did not repent, so his name was blotted out of the Book of Life. Don’t believe the lies: that your name will not be blotted out, no matter how you live your life. If you don’t continue with Jesus, loving Him and keeping His Words, walking in humility and repentance; if you continue in sin and won’t repent, your name will be blotted out of the Book. And whoever is not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire, to be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Don’t be deceived by these ungodly men and their lies any more! As Jesus said in Revelation, Those that I love I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore and repent! He came to those seven Churches in Revelation to commend them and chastise them, even as a loving father corrects his children that he loves. He loves you today! And He is pleading with you, through me, today! If your garments are defiled, come to Him! Receive His correction, His washing today!, and be cleansed of your filthiness! He loves you! He’s for you! He proved it when He gave Himself on the Cross for you! If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Through the Blood of the Lamb of God, and through your testimony of what He has done through His sacrifice on the Cross for you, you will overcome the Devil, and all his destruction in your life, and you will inherit all things! Rev 21:7, He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (Or daughter).  Jesus said, He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches today! Going back to Jude, he said, But you beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life! Keep believing His Word!, looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great God, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins on the Cross, that He might deliver us from every lawless deed, and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 2 Cor 6:17&18, Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty. Chapter 7, verse 1, Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

 The Cross

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes with Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about The Cross. Thank you Lord. Let’s turn to 1Cor 1:18-31, For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—that, as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord. Chapter 2, verses 1&2,  And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The cross is an instrument of punishment, of shame and condemnation, and of death. The Romans used the cross as that instrument of death; that instrument of punishment and shame.

Let’s turn to Luke 23:24-49, So Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested.

And he released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will. Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed! Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us, and to the hills, Cover us. For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry? There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.  Jesus had been beaten and tormented before this; He’d been scourged with a Roman lash. Only God can reveal to us the extent of His suffering that He went through for us. Jesus was not weak. He was a strong man. He was a carpenter. And He was so weak from how they had been beating Him and whipping Him, and mistreating Him, that He could not carry the Cross. So they had Simon, a Cyrenian, carry it for Him. And when they came to the place, they laid Him on that Cross, and they nailed Him to it. They nailed through His hands and nailed through both of His feet; they nailed Him to the Cross, with the crown of thorns on His head.  And then Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. And they divided His garments and cast lots. And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God. The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself. And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us. But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong. Then he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise. You see what this man said: they were on the Cross, all three of them, the two thieves and Jesus, and those two men were receiving the due reward for their deeds, it was an instrument for punishment of transgressions; for doing evil; he said, This Man has done nothing wrong. Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, Father,  into your hands I commit my Spirit. Having said this, He breathed His last. So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous Man! And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned. But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

Let’s turn to John 3:14-21, Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus, and He said, And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. Verses 14&15,  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Let’s turn to Numbers 21: 4-9, This is talking about the journeying of the Children of Israel with Moses, Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread. So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. The serpent on the pole represented the judgment of God on the people for their sins. So, just as those that looked upon the bronze serpent on the pole were saved from death, so those that look upon the Son of God on the Cross, taking their judgment for their sin upon Himself, and believe on Him, so they too shall be delivered from death. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Those that did not look upon the serpent on the pole died. So those that will not look upon Jesus and believe on Him, even they will die in their sins. Jesus said, If you do not believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins. He that believes on the Son has everlasting life, and he that does not believe on the Son of God shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. The wrath of God came upon Jesus as He suffered for our sins. If we believe on Him, and what He endured on the Cross for us, we will be delivered from God’s wrath that is to come upon all the wicked. Those who will not repent and believe on Him, and what He suffered for their sins, will experience the full wrath of Almighty God coming upon them, and they will be cast into the Lake of Fire in the final judgment, to be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Jesus will say to them, Depart from Me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. We must understand that Jesus, on that Cross, suffered the full wrath of God upon His body and His soul, the full punishment for all our sins, and He died for our sins. Only those that look upon Him on that Cross and believe in His shed Blood; only those that repent and believe that He paid the full ransom for our lives through His own death, will escape the wrath to come, and it is coming upon all the wicked. If you have not repented and believed in Him, and received His righteousness: God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on that Cross, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him; if you do not continue in His righteousness, you are wicked, and if you will not repent, the wrath of God will come upon you. There is salvation in no other. You say you have your own religion; you have your own personal relationship with God; if it is not a true relationship with Jesus; if He is not your Lord; if you are not trusting Him and following Him, it will not work. You are deceived, and you will be destroyed. Jesus is the Son of God! There is no other! The Son of God loved you, and gave Himself for you on that Cross! Receive His love! Receive His sacrifice for you!

Let’s turn to Col 1:19-23, Praise God! Thank you Lord! For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. We must always be looking to the Cross, to the sacrifice of our Savior for us there, where He loved us and gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood, and always be thankful to the Father for Him.

Who Is The Greatest?

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called Who Is The Greatest? Let’s turn to Mat 18:1-7, At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! Mat 19:13-15, Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. And He laid His hands on them and departed from there. Let’s turn to Mat 20:20-28, Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him. And He said to her, What do you wish? She said to Him, Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your Kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They said to Him, We are able. So He said to them, You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father. And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers. But Jesus called them to Himself and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

John 13:1-17,  Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, Lord, are You washing my feet? Jesus answered and said to him, What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this. Peter said to Him, You shall never wash my feet! Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me. Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head! Jesus said to him, He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.

For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, You are not all clean. So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. Thank you Jesus! Let’s turn to Mat 23:1-12, Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat.

Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But you, do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Praise God! Thank you Jesus! And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Do you wish to be exalted by God? Or do you wish to be exalted by men? If you will humble yourself before the great and mighty God, He will exalt you in due time. Let’s turn to 1 Cor 3:1-8,  And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. So, my brothers, and my sisters: the Apostle Paul said right here, Who then is Paul, who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then, neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase! The scripture says, What do you have that you have not received? The apostle Paul said that he was nothing. If the Apostle Paul, who did all that he did, as God gave him the increase; if he did all those things, and he said that he was nothing, who are you to think that you are anything? Or, who am I to think that I am anything? Jesus said, If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will bring forth much fruit. He said , Without Me you can do nothing! Without Jesus we can do nothing! It is Jesus Christ in us! He is in us! He gives the increase! Hallelujah!

Isa 2:6-22, For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with eastern ways; they are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they are pleased with the children of foreigners. Their land is also full of silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; their land is also full of horses, and there is no end to their chariots. Their land is also full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. People bow down, and each man humbles himself; therefore do not forgive them. Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low—upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan; upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up; upon every high tower, and upon every fortified wall; upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all the beautiful sloops. The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day, but the idols He shall utterly abolish. They shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the Earth, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake the Earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which they made, each for himself to worship, to the moles and bats,  to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the crags of the rugged rocks, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake the Earth mightily. Sever yourselves from such a man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for of what account is he? The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. The Lord alone shall be exalted in that day, for He alone is great! It is He who has created us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. And great is His love for us, that He would look upon us, in our blindness and deceit, in our pride, perishing in our sins, and send to us His beloved Son, that He should live as a man; the Son of Man on the Earth, and be tempted every way as we are, and yet without sin. As Jesus said, The Son of Man came, not to be ministered unto, but to minister; to serve, and to give His sinless life a ransom for many. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever, Amen! Who are we? What do we have that we have not received? Now if we did receive it indeed, why do we boast, as if we did not receive it? It is God who gives the increase. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen! Praise God, Amen! Thank you Lord, Amen!

You are great! You are the great God! There is no other God! You alone are great! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank you Lord! Praise God, Amen!  If you will humble yourselves God will exalt you. Those of you who are beginning to think of yourselves, or maybe you’ve been thinking of yourself for a long time, as a great person-a great man or woman of God: whatever you have you received from the Lord! He alone is great! Humble yourself now and turn to Him with all your heart; with weeping and mourning and fasting! Turn from your wicked ways! Turn unto Him, that you might find grace in His sight. If you will humble yourself, He will exalt you! Wouldn’t it be better to be exalted by the great God, the God of all flesh, than it would be to be exalted by mere men?

Prophecy:

I am God Almighty. Turn to Me with all your heart, says the Lord. Forsake your wicked ways, says the Lord. You, my people, you have turned from Me: you have sought the honor of men, and not My honor only, and I command you this day: Repent of your evil ways, and turn to Me with all your heart, says the Lord. For I love you! I gave My Son for you! He suffered for you! He alone will be exalted in that day, says the Father. I will exalt My Son. He alone will be exalted before all the nations. So humble yourself now, that you may be blessed in Him. I will exalt you, if you will humble yourself before Me.

 The Passover Lamb

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. God bless you everyone that is reading this. Today’s program is called The Passover Lamb. Let’s turn to Gen 22:1-8, Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Here I am. Then He said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you. So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said to his young men, Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you. So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father! And he said, Here I am, my son. Then he said, Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. So the two of them went together. Let’s turn to Exo 12:1-14, Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man's need you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails. You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.  Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations… Verses 21-23,  Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.  And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. Verse 46, In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones.

Let’s turn to John 19:17-24, And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews, but, He said, I am the King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written, I have written. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be, that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.  Therefore the soldiers did these things. Verses 28-37, After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst! Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, Not one of His bones shall be broken. And again another Scripture says, They shall look on Him whom they pierced. That scripture about His bones not being broken, is the same scripture from Exo 12:46:...neither shall you break a bone thereof.

John 6:51-58, Jesus said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, How can this Man give us His flesh to eat? Then Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever. John 1:29, The next day John (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Verse 36, And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!  Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world! 1 Cor 5:6-8, Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Christ our Passover! 1 Pet 1:17-21, And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. A lamb without blemish and without spot: He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world. So we see, in these scriptures that we’ve been reading, the Lamb of God, where Abraham, when Isaac asked Him, where is the lamb? said, God will provide Himself a Lamb. And then in Exodus: the Passover Lamb. Amen! Then we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death; crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.

Rev 5:6-14,  And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your Blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth. Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

saying with a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing! And every creature which is in Heaven and on the Earth and under the Earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Then the four living creatures said, Amen! And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

Jesus is the Passover Lamb. His Blood was shed on the Cross at Calvary to save us from death. We are saved through faith in His sacrifice of himself; through faith in His shed Blood shed for the remission of our sins. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. God so loved us that He gave His Son a living sacrifice for our sins to save us from the wrath of God to come. God provided for Himself a Lamb. God made Him who knew no sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are, to become sin on the Cross, that we, through repentance and faith toward Him, might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Our sins were laid on Him on the Cross. He died for our sins, and He washed us from our sins in His own Blood, that through faith in His death and resurrection, and obedience to His Word, we might be made righteous, and escape the judgment that is soon coming upon the whole world.  Glory to the Lamb!

Jesus is the Lamb! Holy is the Lamb! For you are glorious and worthy to be praised, the Lamb upon your throne. And you will reign in righteousness forever; the Lamb upon your throne.

 Abide In Me

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called Abide In Me. Let’s turn to John 14:1-24, Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?  Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world? Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the Word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.  John 17:20-26, I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. Jesus Christ is in us: when you receive Jesus, He comes to dwell in your heart. Col 1:27, To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Gal 4:6, And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father! 1 Cor 6:15, Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?... verse 17, But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. When you are born of God; when you are born of the Spirit, Christ is in you, and the Father is in Him; so the Father is in you, and He will give you His Holy Spirit, and then the Holy Spirit dwells in you: the Spirit of Truth which proceeds from the Father. 2 Cor 13:5, …Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?... Gal 2:20,  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Let’s turn to John 15:1-17, I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.  Abide in Me, and I in you. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in Me, and I in Him, the same brings forth much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.  If we don’t continue with Jesus, then we are not abiding in Him; we will wither, and the Father will take us away, and we will be gathered by men and cast into the fire. It is not  “Once saved, always saved.” We must abide in Jesus: If you abide in Me, and my Words abide in you- continuing in His Word. Verse 2 says, every branch in Me: this is one who is born again. He or she is in Jesus, and He is in them. But if that person does not bear fruit, then the Father will take them away, if they do not abide in Jesus (He is the vine), and continue in His Word. Verse 5,...He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.  We can say we are Christians; we can say, “Lord, Lord,” but are we truly abiding in Him?, and are His Words abiding in us? Are we loving Him? Are we keeping His Words? Jesus said,...even as I keep my Father’s sayings and abide in Him. In verse 10 Jesus said, If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you; that we lay down our lives for one another. We must walk in love toward one another, forgiving one another, serving one another, washing one another’s feet, if we are to abide in Jesus. If we harden our hearts and begin to hate someone, or refuse to forgive them, or exalt ourselves over them and oppress them, we will begin to wither. And if we refuse to repent and humble ourselves to each other, we will dry up, and the Father will take us away. We will be gathered by men, by false prophets, and end up being cast into the Lake of Fire. Verses 9&10, As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. 1 John 3:11-16,   For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous. Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Verse 24, Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. Chapter 4, verse 16-21, And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

We bring forth fruit by abiding in Jesus; abiding in His love; His love being shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We love Him because He first loved us. The Holy Spirit will lead us in doing good works: acts of love, as we are abiding in Jesus and yielding to Him. So when we repent of our own way and believe in Jesus and confess him as our Lord; when we receive Him, He comes into our hearts; He is in the Father and the Father is in Him, and they come and make their home in us. If we then will continue in His Word; remember He said, If you love Me, keep My Words, we will be His true disciples, and His Truth will make us free indeed. If we will receive the Holy Spirit: be baptized in the Holy Spirit, then the Holy Spirit will be leading us every day, as we deny ourselves, deny our flesh, lay down our lives and love the Father and love His Son, and love one another, keeping His Words, taking up our cross and following Jesus, as He will be leading us by the Holy Spirit to do the will of God. We are abiding in His love, even as Jesus keeps the Father’s commandments and abides in His love. As we are walking this way in Him, the Holy Spirit will be leading us to do the works that the Father wills for us to do, and He will work through us to the glory of God, even as Jesus is the Son of God, and He only does what He sees His Father doing. So we, as we are led by the Holy Spirit, are sons and daughters of God, and we love Him, and we delight to do His will; we delight to please Him and see Him work through us to minister His gifts and His blessings to His people and edify them, to His glory. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Remember, Jesus said, I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
