Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

There is a Day Coming

Luk 13:24-30 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
There is a day coming. If we don't prepare ourselves, if we are not purifying ourselves, striving to enter into the Kingdom of God through the narrow gate,
if we will not repent and come to Jesus and let Him wash us from our filthiness, we will be weeping and gnashing our teeth when he will say to us in that day,
"I tell you I know you not whence you are. Depart from me all you workers of iniquity."
Are you a worker of iniquity, or a worker of righteousness? 1 John 3:7&8: Little children, let no man deceive you, he that does righteousness is righteous,
even as He is righteous. He that commits sin is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested; that He might destroy the works of the devil.
It won't work to deceive yourself, or let someone deceive you to believe that the Day of the Lord is not coming, that it is a religious fable. Consider that most of the prophecies concerning Jesus Christ and His Kingdom have already been exactly fulled by Him. The few and glorious ones that remain will therefore also be perfectly fulfilled in their season. Therefore it would certainly be appropriate for you to take serious consideration and at least look into the Word of God and pray and seek God for understanding, that He may have mercy on you, and that you might possibly be counted worthy to escape the things that are surely coming on the Earth, and to stand before Him at His coming.

Continue in My Word

Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

We quote these verses often, but it is critically important, if we truly want to be His disciple, and if we want to be free,  that we understand fully
what Jesus was saying and obey Him. The word "continue" as he used it here means to stay in, abide, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand in.
We need to take real time every day to attend to God's Word, reading and studying, asking the Lord for understanding. The Holy Spirit, then, will
teach us and give us understanding, and He will lead us to do it in real time situations in our daily life. As we humble ourselves and yield to the Spirit
and obey the Word in those situations we will be established more and more in the truth and we will be made more and more free.

1Jn 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
1Jn 2:28  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Jas 1:21  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jas 1:23  For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
The word "continues" in verse 25 here means to stay near, remain, be present, abide. Not being a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This verse makes clear that continuing in God's Word involves doing it. And both in John 8 and James 1 we see it involves dwelling in or abiding in His Word.

Joh 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Joh 15:2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 15:6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Joh 15:9  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Joh 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Joh 15:11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Joh 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Joh 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Joh 15:14  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Jesus made it clear here that if we keep His commandments or continue in His Word we will abide in Him, we will abide in His love, and this is
His commandment that we love one another as He has loved us and bring forth fruit to the glory of God. 1John 5:10 &11: Here in is love, not that we
loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
As we continue in His Word we will be made free through the truth and this will be fullfilled in our lives, but we must take the time every day with all
our heart and attend to this, otherwise we will wither.
