Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. God bless every one of you that is listening. I am thankful for you. Let’s turn to John 2:1-11, On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine. Jesus said to her, Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it. Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast. And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from but the servants who had drawn the water knew, the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now! This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. The first miracle that Jesus did was at this wedding, and He turned water into good wine- You have kept the good wine until now. When Jesus took the cup, at the Last Supper, He said, This cup is the New Covenant in My Blood, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Then He said, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s Kingdom.  The good wine is the New Covenant in Jesus’ Blood. The Son of God came and died on the Cross to take away our sins. Because He lived as a man, tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin, He became the spotless Lamb of God to be offered on the Cross at the Passover, to take away our sins; the sins of the whole world, that whoever lives and believes in Him might not perish, but have everlasting life. For the Son of God did not come into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. It is the New Covenant in His Blood that saves us, through repentance and faith in His sacrifice for us on the Cross. His Blood cleanses us of all sin and unrighteousness. Through water baptism we are baptized into Jesus; baptized into His death; our old sinful nature is crucified with Him; buried with Him in the water, and we are raised with Him, in newness of life, to receive His Holy Spirit, and serve Him in the newness of the Spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. By His gift of Himself we are saved, and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God- the grace of God: God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever lives and believes in Him should not perish, but inherit eternal life.

Let’s turn to Mat 22:1-14,  And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. Again, he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding. But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding. So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.  The Father is preparing a marriage for His Son; He is preparing a spotless bride for His Son, who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own Blood, to purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. We are the Bride of Christ, and it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when we see Him, we shall be like Him, and whoever has this hope in him purifies himself even as He is pure.  Are you purifying yourself?  Are you continuing to wash yourself in the water of His Word? Are there things in your life that you need to confess to Him? Are you walking in the light, with the Blood of Jesus cleansing you from all sin?  Are you walking in fellowship with the Father and with His Son?  Are you keeping His Words? Ask yourself: If the answer to most of these questions is no, then humble yourself and come to Jesus in repentance. He will receive you if you are sincere. His grace is sufficient for you. He will make a way for you.  But if you refuse; if you are scoffing at these words and justifying your sins through your own deceit and the lies of the false prophets that fill the Earth, you will not be able to stand in the Day of Judgement. If you do not have on His robe of righteousness, if you are not keeping your wedding garment, you will not be accepted at the marriage supper of the Lamb; you will be cast out into outer darkness, and you will have weeping and gnashing of teeth.  This is not a fairy tale. This is the truth of God’s Word. Jesus did not speak false things. Jesus Christ said of Himself, I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life. All of you who can hear my voice; all of you who are hearing this, or reading this, you would do well to consider the Words of the Lamb of God; the Words of Jesus Christ. For He is coming again; He’s coming in the clouds; He promised.  Remember that all the scriptures; all the prophecies that were spoken about Him in the Old Testament: most of them have already been fulfilled through His life on the Earth, His crucifixion, and His resurrection, and His ascension into Heaven. Therefore, the things that yet remain to be fulfilled will surely be fulfilled! He’s coming again in the clouds with great power and glory and He will establish His throne in Jerusalem, and there will be a marriage supper; a marriage supper of the Lamb, and those who are worthy will be there. The only way we can be worthy is to believe His sacrifice; to receive His righteousness through faith. Hallelujah! Many are called but few are chosen.

God is preparing a marriage for His Son, and He has put all things under His feet. He has prepared for Him a Kingdom, and Jesus will be returning to Earth in the not too distant future to establish His throne in Jerusalem and to reign as King over all the Earth. Because He humbled Himself to the death of the Cross, the Father has given Him a name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow: in Heaven, on the Earth and under the Earth, and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So let this mind be also in you that was in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death; even the death of the Cross. He said, Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from  me, for I am gentle and lowly of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. If you are going to be with Jesus, you will need to deny yourself and take up your cross every day and follow Him. Paul said, I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Because Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us, therefore we ought to love Him. We love Him, the Bible says, because He first loved us. God so loved us that He gave His Son. So our response is to love Him; to live for Him; to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him every day; to lay down our lives. Jesus said, Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends. He laid down His life for us. If we are His friends, we will lay down our lives for Him. Amen! So love the one that loved you: Jesus loved you; He gave Himself for you. Love Him. Follow Him. You will be so happy in that day that you came to Him with all your heart and laid down your life and followed Him! You will be rewarded throughout eternity: the things that God has prepared for those that love Him, they haven’t even entered into the mind of man!

Prophecy:

I am the God of all flesh. Those of you who are listening to my servant Rob this day, humble yourselves before Me. Come to Me. Come to Me, the author and the finisher of your faith. I love you! I gave Myself for you. Look to Me. Look unto Me, says the Lord. Look up, for I am coming soon! If you will do these things, if you will humble yourself and purify yourself, I will receive you to Myself when I come. But if you refuse, if you will love this world, and walk after the things of this world, you will be sadly disappointed when I come. You will be ashamed when I come. I am God Almighty. Do not be ashamed of My Son. Do not be ashamed of His sacrifice for you. Receive it! Receive my love, says the Lord!

Thank you Heavenly Father! Thank you Lord! Let’s turn to Rev 19:6-9,  And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb! And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God. Titus 2:11-14, For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Remember what we just read in Revelation,...for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. God is purifying for Himself His own special people, and we, as the people of God, need to yield to the Holy Spirit and let Him lead us. We need to be zealous to be led by the Spirit of God to do the works that He wants us to do, not our own works, but to do the righteous deeds that He is leading us to do.

 Overcome It !

First repent and believe and trust in 1 John 1:9; that He will forgive you and cleanse you, because of Jesus' sacrifice. Keep meditating on His sacrifice for your sins and His resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit for your justification. Then, every time you fall, get on your face again and do the same thing. Keep on crying out to God for your deliverance and victory! Heb 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Every time you are tempted again, ask the Lord to give you grace. He will do it, and you will overcome! Be like Jacob! Get ahold of God and say, I won't let you go until you bless me!!!

 The First Lie

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called The First Lie.  Let’s turn to Gen 2:7-9, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Let’s go to verses 15-17,  Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Let’s turn to chapter 3, verses 1-24,  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Has God indeed said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.  Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you? So he said, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat? Then the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? The woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate. So the Lord God said to the serpent: Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. (Here we see, in the beginning of the creation, God refers to the triumph of His Son Jesus over sin and all the power of Satan through the Cross.) To the woman He said: I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.  Then to Adam He said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return. And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. (Here we see the love of God for His people which He had made, even after they had sinned against Him, in that He made them some nice clothes to wear.) Then the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Clearly, while they were still in the Garden, before they had sinned, they had full access to the tree of life, to eternal life. God did not forbid them from eating of it. But when  they had sinned, they died, just as God had said; death came upon them, and they lost the access to eternal life.

Let’s turn to Rom 5:12-21, Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:15-23, What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The fruit of lies is death, and the fruit of the truth is life.

Rom 8:1-17, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Verse 13, For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Satan is saying the same thing today to Christians who are involved in sin, the same lie that he spoke to Eve in the garden: he says, You won’t die. You’re under grace. Let’s look at Titus 2:11-14, For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

It was the lust of her eyes and the desire of her heart that prompted Eve to receive the lie, and to sin against God. So it is the condition of our hearts that causes us to receive a lie. Once we believe the lie, then it begins to affect our life in a bad way, and the effect can be far-reaching, and can ultimately bring about death: eternal damnation and separation from God and His goodness. The only hope for us all is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross for our sins. He is the way, and the truth, and the life. When we repent of our sins and believe His sacrifice for us; He loved us and washed us from our sins in His own Blood, His Blood will completely cleanse us of all our sins, and we will be made righteous in Him. Eph 2:8-10,  For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. It is the Father’s great love for us, and His gift of His Son that will save us and give us eternal life in Him, if we will repent and believe Him, if we will continue in His Word, with the Holy Spirit revealing it to us, and teaching us, and leading us in doing it. Then we will be His true disciples, and we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free from all the lies that have been sent by the Devil to destroy us. It is all about our hearts: If we have a heart to love God; to love His truth; to be thankful and serve Him and do His will, then we will continue with Him. If we have a heart that loves the world, that loves pleasure, money, or anything else more than God, then we will continue in the lies, and ultimately end up, if we won’t repent, in eternal damnation. Through all  of this, in the beginning, in the Garden of Eden, until the day of Christ’s returning, God has been making a holy people: a people that truly love Him from their heart, and through His Son He has given them eternal life to live with Him in His glory. So, be straight with God! Humble yourself before Him, and ask Him to deal with your life, and correct you and change your heart as He sees fit. You can trust Him. He will not destroy you. He loves you so much that He literally gave His beloved Son on the Cross at Calvary, who never sinned; never did anything wrong, to suffer for your sins; to save you from them, and to give you His righteousness, so that, if you will continue with Him, you will become like Him: conformed to His likeness; a new creation in Him, and you will enter into His glory! It’s up to you. What will you choose: life or death? Count the cost now; consider your end now! If God is dealing with you now, He is having mercy on you, to bring you to repentance, so that He can bless you. He did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. This is the condemnation: that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. They won’t come to the light, because then their deeds will be exposed and dealt with.

So we condemn ourselves when we refuse to come truly to Jesus and surrender our lives to Him; when we want to keep doing the evil things that we love, and we believe the lie: You will not surely die.

 The Blessed Hope

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about The Blessed Hope. Let’s turn to 1 Cor 15:1-28, Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that Word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. Did you know that you can believe in vain? You can believe the Gospel, and not hold it fast, and then your belief is in vain. Verse 3, For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.   Is your hope only in this life?  But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.

Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. For He has put all things under His feet. But when He says, all things are put under Him, it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. Verse 35-58, But someone will say, How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, the first Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. Oh death, where is your sting? Oh Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

OK, let’s turn to Rom 8:12-30, Hallelujah! Thank you Lord that you are coming soon! Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. We are not just hanging on by our fingernails, hoping to barely make it into Heaven.  We are children of the Father of all glory through belief in the sacrifice of His Son; we are joint heirs with Him; heirs of God; heirs of His glory, if we continue in the faith, not moved away from the hope of the Gospel. What is the hope of the Gospel? It is to enter into His eternal glory; into His joy; into His glorious presence; to receive our glorified eternal bodies, like unto Jesus’ glorious body, and to serve Him, and to love Him forever, in His glorious Kingdom in the presence of His glorious majesty! Look up children! For your redemption is drawing near! Jesus is very soon coming back, in all the glory of the Father, with all the holy angels: millions of glorious angels, and all the saints will be coming with Him, and those that sleep in the dust will be resurrected, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. Those that are alive in Jesus will be changed into their glorious eternal bodies, and we will meet the Lord in the air. 1 Thess 4:13-18, But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. Glory to God! Glory to God! Glory to God! Look up! For your redemption is drawing near! Jesus is coming! He’s coming very soon! Be ready! Be watchful! Be ready to meet Him! Thank you Lord! Amen!

Phil 3:7-14, But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

If we are going to be a part of that first resurrection, we are going to have to count all things loss: all the things we possess, all the things we have achieved, all the things of this life, and we are going to have to forget what is behind us, and reach forward to that which is before us. What is before us? The glorious majesty of God’s eternal Kingdom! And we are going to have to press, fight for, the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! Glory to God! Glory to God! 1 Cor 2:9, But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him! 1 Cor 13:13, And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. If we will love the Lord God, and believe and keep His Words, and give ourselves completely to Him to do them, then we have this blessed hope. If we don’t love Him; if we love this present evil world, then we don’t have it.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power. But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

 Weeping And Gnashing Of Teeth

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about Weeping And Gnashing Of Teeth. Let’s turn to Mat 8:5-13, Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. And Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the Kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you. And his servant was healed that same hour. The scripture says that God has clothed us with a robe of righteousness through the sacrifice of Jesus, through faith in His sacrifice; through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we have been made righteous: God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. So this is the wedding garment: the robe of righteousness, and if we don’t have that we are not going to be allowed in the wedding feast. There is a wedding supper coming. It’s called the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Jesus has made every provision for us to be there. The Father has made every provision for us to be at that feast, and to have that wedding garment: and that is the sacrifice of His beloved Son. Jesus lived as a man; He was tempted in every way as we are, yet He never yielded; He never sinned. That’s why He could offer Himself on the Cross, and He was willing to do it! He had to overcome His own flesh in the Garden of Gethsemane, and He sacrificed Himself on the Cross; He went through suffering that we cannot imagine. Jesus has already gone through it, and He triumphed over all the powers of darkness when the Father raised Him from the dead. All has been provided for us to be a part of that wedding feast, if we will repent; if we will turn from our own wicked ways, and repent, and believe the Gospel; believe what the Lord has done for us, and put our trust in Him. And we must continue with Him: Jesus said, If you continue in My Word, you will be my disciple indeed, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Let’s turn to Mat 24:45-50, Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, My master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 25:14-30, For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.  I want to tell every one of us: It’s been a long time. It’s been 2000 years, but the Lord is coming, and He’s going to settle accounts with us. Don’t be deceived, Jesus is coming; He’s coming very soon, based on what we see taking place; comparing that with the things that have been prophesied, we know He’s coming very soon, and He’s going to settle accounts with us. Verse 20, So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. That’s where we want to go! We want to enter into the joy of our Lord!  Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. But his lord answered and said to him, You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Is this one of those verses that you tend to read over quickly and not pay too much attention to? The reason I’m doing this message; the reason I believe the Lord is giving me this message for you today, is to warn you and me and all of us that His coming is getting very close, and all of these things will be fulfilled, and He is going to settle accounts with us. The day is soon coming when we will have to face the Lord Jesus and give an account for what we’ve done, and what we haven’t done with what He’s given us. Thank you Jesus! Verses 31-46, When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me. Do you know some of the least? You may know some that you don’t think are much of a Christian, but you don’t know them; you don’t know their heart, and they may be one of the least. How are you treating them? How are you treating the ones that God brings across your path? When you see them in need, what do you do?

Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me. Then they also will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? Then He will answer them, saying, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Jesus has done everything for us, and He has warned us very clearly that there is going to be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Let’s turn to Mat 7:21-23, Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! These are Christians. These are people who say, Lord, Lord. These are not only Christians, these are Christians who have been filled with the Holy Spirit: No one can cast out a demon except by the Spirit of God. No one can do miracles except by the Spirit of God. So don’t think that because you are a Christian, and you have been baptized in water, and you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and you go to a so-called good church, that you are exempt. Don’t think that because you are under what they call grace now-a-days, which really many times is false grace, don’t think that because you’re under grace that you’re OK. What did Jesus say? Not every one who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. So what are we to do? Well, He gave us the answer, right here in verses 24-27, Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, does them!, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall. Jesus, of course, was referring to all the things He spoke about in the Sermon on the Mount. As I said earlier, He has made every provision for us to walk with Him, and to walk in His Word. He said, If you love Me, keep My Words. And if you love Jesus, if you really love Him, You will be able to keep His Words: You will receive the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will lead you in keeping the Words of Jesus; He will enable you, if you will humble yourself and yield to the Holy Spirit; yield to the Lord. If you make a mistake, if you sin,

You can always go to Him and ask forgiveness; He said He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you, amen, of all unrighteousness. He’s made provision for all of this through the sacrifice of Himself, and through His resurrection. So it’s a matter of: Do you love Him? Or do you love yourself, and your own pleasures, or money, or the things of this world more than you love Jesus? But if you will love Him, He will help you; He will be with you, and you will be able to walk with Him. Amen! And you won’t be one of those that will be weeping and gnashing their teeth as they are cast into outer darkness.
