Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Not Of This World

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Heavenly Father! We thank you Father; we praise your holy name! Thank you for this day Father. Thank you for the program that you have given me: Not Of This World. In John chapter 3, Jesus told Nicodemus that, unless we are born again or born from above, we cannot see the Kingdom of God. When we believe on Him and we receive Him we are born from above; we become sons and daughters of God. Gal 4:4,

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father! Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Jesus said, He that commits sin; he that practices sin, is the slave of sin, but he whom the Son sets free shall be free indeed. In John 8, Jesus said to the Jews, You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Jesus said to His disciples, in John 15:18, If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. When Jesus was praying, shortly before He was crucified, in John 17:6, He said,  I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your Word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the Words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; (that’s us), that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

Jesus is from above: He is not of this world. He came here to deliver us from this present evil world; to deliver us from our sins, and to cause us to overcome evil: to overcome the devil. Let’s turn to 1 John 5:1,  Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Let’s read that again: For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on Earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Verse 19, We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. They overcame him: the wicked one, by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Jesus said, He that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My throne; He that overcomes will I give to eat of the Tree of Life; he that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death; he that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written; he that overcomes and keeps My works unto the end: to him will I give power over the nations; he that overcomes shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the Temple of My God, and he shall no more go out, and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God: New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and I will write upon him My new name. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Jesus said, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.

It is upon us to repent of all our evil, worldly ways; turn from them, and humble ourselves before our God, and believe on the name of His Son, who died for us and rose again, to deliver us from this present evil world; to save us from our sins, and to enable us, through faith and the Word of God, to overcome them, and to inherit all things in Him. We are not of this world, but He has chosen us out of the world ! He that makes himself a friend of the world, makes himself an enemy of God. This world is passing away, and the lusts thereof, but he that does the will of God abides forever! Not everyone who says, Lord, Lord, is going into the Kingdom of God, but he that does the will of the Father. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Let’s turn to Php 3:7, The Apostle Paul said, But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Chapter 4, verse 1, Therefore my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. Are you looking for the Savior? Are you purifying yourself, even as He is pure, as you are eagerly waiting for Him? Are you overcoming this present evil world? Are you of God, or are you of this world? As long as you continue to love the things of this world and it’s pleasures, you will never overcome it. In Rev 21:7 Jesus said, He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Little children, we are not of this world, even as He is not of this world.

 Sorry For My Sin

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Father, in Jesus name, we thank you for this program. Thank you Lord!

We praise you Father and I thank you for this message that you have given me for this week. I pray that you would bless every one of us to have ears to hear what you are saying, and understanding: help us to understand what you are saying. Thank you Lord for the truth of your Word. Today’s program is called, Sorry For My Sin. In Psalm 38:18 it is written, For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. Let’s turn to 2 Cor 7:6,  Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more. For even if I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it. For I perceive that the same epistle made you sorry, though only for a while. Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be repented of; but the sorrow of the world produces death.  Let’s turn to Psalm 51:1, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight—that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Verse 7, Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. You may remember that, throughout the Old Testament, they used hyssop to sprinkle the blood, and God had Moses put the blood of the Passover lamb upon the doorposts with hyssop, that the angel of death would pass over the houses of the Children of Israel. So David is referring to the blood of the sacrifice purging him of his sin: purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. But now we have a better sacrifice: the sacrifice of Jesus, the Lamb of God, who took away the sins of the world, and His shed Blood washes us white as snow. When? When we have godly sorrow, and we have true repentance, and we confess and acknowledge our sin before our God. He will forgive us, for Jesus’ sake, and He will cleanse us through faith in His shed Blood, white as snow. The Scripture says, Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Amen.

Let’s go to Psalm 32:1, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned into the drought of summer. I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Verse 5, …I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,  and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Prov 28:13, He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. False grace falsely covers sins without godly sorrow; without confession, and without forsaking them. True repentance is much more than changing your mind. Godly sorrow works repentance not to be repented of: true repentance: confessing our sins and forsaking them, and being truly cleansed of them, by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus and His precious shed Blood. Only the Blood of Jesus can purge your conscience of sins and cleanse you of the unrighteousness that brought them to pass. Jesus died to take away our sins, not just to cover them and hide them in the darkness of false grace. The Apostle John said that truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, that He is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and we don’t practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with the Father and with His Son and with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. There is no true fellowship with God or one another if we cover our sins with lies. But if we walk in the light and confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in the Blood of His Son. Jesus loved us and washed us from our sins in His own Blood. There needs to be real godly sorrow from the heart.

Let’s turn to Luke 7:36, Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee's house, and sat down to eat. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner. And Jesus answered and said to him, Simon, I have something to say to you. So he said, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more? Simon answered and said, I suppose the one whom he forgave more. And He said to him, You have rightly judged. Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. Then He said to her, Your sins are forgiven. And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, Who is this who even forgives sins? Then He said to the woman, Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.

Isa 54:4, Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole Earth. For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused, says your God. For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. We are sorry for our sins because of the love of God: after He has loved us so much and given His beloved Son to suffer for us and bear our sins upon the Cross; to shed His very Blood for us and die for us and rise again from the dead, we are sorry that we have sinned against Him who loved us so much! We are sorry because we love Him; for Him and for his truth. We love him because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.

Repentance not to be repented of: when you have godly sorrow, it works true repentance in you and you don’t ever need to repent again for that sin: it is cleansed; you are washed in Jesus’ Blood, white as snow; justified, just as though you never sinned. This is why Godly sorrow is so important: so you can fully repent from the heart and be fully cleansed and fully justified through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus: faith in His sacrifice for you, Hallelujah! Not so with only changing your mind. Not so with false grace. We must repent with all our heart!

Father, I pray now in the name of Jesus your Son, that you would send forth your Holy Spirit to convict your people in this country, the United States of America, and also in other places in the world, of sin, righteousness, and judgment; that you would bring godly sorrow to your people, that your people that are called by your name would humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways and seek your face!, that our land may be healed! For we are in a straight; we are in dire circumstances, Father, as you know! It’s because we have rejected your Word and we have turned our backs to you: turning away from you to follow our own wicked ways! We are certainly like Sodom and like Gomorrah! Father, I pray for this in Jesus’ name! Thank you Father, thank you Lord, thank you Father!

Every Idle Word

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus.

Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Heavenly Father! Thank you for this program Father, Amen! Thank you! The joy of the Lord is our strength. Today’s program is called, Every Idle Word. We’re going to start in Mat 15:1, Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. He answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother, and he who curses father or mother, let him be put to death. But you say, Whoever says to his father or mother, Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God—then he need not honor his father or mother. Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying? But He answered and said, Every plant which My Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch. Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us. So Jesus said, Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man. Mat 12:33, Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the Day of Judgment.

For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Let’s go to Jas 4:4, Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. Here is the key to all of this: humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

What is in your heart will come out of your mouth: what is in your heart? Do you love God? Do you love the truth? Do you love the world, or do you love the Father? You can’t have both. What do you love? 2 Tim 3:1, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. What do you love? 1 John 3:16, By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. Verse 23, And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 1 John 4:7, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. Chapter 5, verse 3,  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. Jude 1:20, But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jesus said, If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. He said, Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits (practices) sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. This is how we cleanse our hearts: continuing in His Word with the Holy Spirit teaching us and leading us into all truth; loving Jesus; loving His Word; loving the truth; keeping His commandments and  loving one another. Eph 5:25, Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. As we continue reading and studying and doing the Word of the Lord, with the Holy Spirit, we are being washed and cleansed of the evil in our hearts, even as Jesus said to His disciples in John 15:3, Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you. More and more good is being built up in us. Our words and our conversation will be more and more in the goodness of God and the truth of His Word; loving God and loving one another.

Eph 4:29, Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 1 Pet 3:10, For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Psalm 39:1, I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Mat 12:37, For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Satan will work to try to get you involved in evil conversation to sin with your lips; then you will be defiled. If you enter into evil conversation, you will sin with your lips; you will very likely agree with evil and be defiled. 1 Tim 5:22, …neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure. When you sin with your lips, confess it to God, just as with other sins, and turn from it. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you. 1 Pet 1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.

Remember: Jesus said, But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
