Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Innocent Blood

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. (Jude 1:2)

Today we’re going to talk about Innocent Blood. Let’s turn to Psalm 94:1-23,  O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs—O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the Earth; render punishment to the proud. Lord, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph? They utter speech, and speak insolent things; all the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. They break in pieces your people, O Lord, and afflict your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, the Lord does not see, nor does the God of Jacob understand. Understand, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge, shall not He know? The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile. Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, and teach out of your law, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off his people, nor will He forsake his inheritance. But judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it. Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would soon have settled in silence. If I say, my foot slips, your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul. Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? Did you see that? Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood. But the Lord has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge. He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; the Lord our God shall cut them off. The Lord God will cut off those who devise evil by a law.

Let’s turn to Psalm 106:34-38; This is talking about the Children of Israel,  They did not destroy the peoples, concerning whom the Lord had commanded them, but they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works; they served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood. Verse 38, And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood. Our land, The United States of America, is polluted with blood; with the blood of the innocent children who are being slaughtered, even as you read this, unto the idols of Canaan; unto the idols of self love,

self indulgence, love of money, love of pleasure, my career, my life, my body.

Let’s turn to Psalm 139:1-24,  O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from your Spirit? or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend into Heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall fall on me, even the night shall be light about me; indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the Earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed, and in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You. Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men. For they speak against You wickedly; your enemies take your name in vain. Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Verse 14, I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the Earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed, and in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. Consider these Words people; consider what the Lord is saying to you this day. Humble yourselves before the Living God and consider His Words. It is written that the Scripture cannot be broken. These are the Words of the Living God; the One who created you in your mother’s womb.

2 Kings 21:1&2, This is talking about King Manasseh: verse 1, Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Hephzibah. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel. Verse 10, And the Lord spoke by his servants the prophets, saying, Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations: he has acted more wickedly than all the Amorites who were before him, and has also made Judah sin with his idols, therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle. And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. So I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies, because they have done evil in my sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day. Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the Lord.

Let’s turn to 2 Kings 24:1-4, In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him. And the Lord sent against him raiding bands of Chaldeans, bands of Syrians, bands of Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon; He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord which He had spoken by His servants the prophets. Surely at the commandment of the Lord this came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the Lord would not pardon.

Our land is filled with innocent blood. Surely the judgment of our God is upon us. Will you humble yourself? Will you humble yourself before the Living God? Will you tremble at His Word? Will you fear Him? Or will you snuff at Him? Will you continue in your evil way? Will you devise evil by a law, and declare that it is good to kill babies; to slaughter the innocent? How do you feel when you hear the statistics of the numbers of innocent babies that are being slaughtered in the United States and around the world every day? How is your heart? How do you react? Is your heart tender, or do you harden your heart? Is your heart hard toward the Lord, toward his Word? Or are you like King Josiah whose heart was tender toward the Lord, and when you hear of what is written in God’s Word; about how He will judge those who shed innocent blood, do you weep and rend your heart before Him?

2 Kings 22:10-20,  Then Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king. Now it happened, when the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore his clothes. Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Michaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king, saying, Go, inquire of the Lord for me, for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the Lord that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us. So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She dwelt in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter. And they spoke with her.  Then she said to them, Thus says the Lord God of Israel, Tell the man who sent you to Me, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I will bring calamity on this place and on its inhabitants—all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read—because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore My wrath shall be aroused against this place and shall not be quenched. But as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, in this manner you shall speak to him, Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Concerning the words which you have heard—because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you, says the Lord. Surely, therefore, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace; and your eyes shall not see all the calamity which I will bring on this place.  So they brought back word to the king.  Make no mistake! God is longsuffering; He is patient; He waits a long time before He brings judgment, and He pleads with the sons of men; that they might turn and humble themselves and repent! But if we will not repent, rest assured, judgment is upon us folks! Judgment is upon America! We are as Sodom! We are as Gomorrah! If we will not repent, the judgment of God will be fulfilled in America!

Let’s turn to Mat 18:1-14, At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in Heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in Heaven. For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Jesus said,  In Heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in Heaven.  What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish. God has not changed. He said, I don’t change. His judgments are the same now for those who shed innocent blood as they were in the days of the kings of Israel. But for those who will tremble at his Word, and will come to the Innocent One, who willingly shed his own Blood for them on the Cross, to thoroughly wash them and cleanse them of the innocent blood that they have shed; there is forgiveness! And there is life! Jesus did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them! He is come that we might have life, and that more abundantly! Come out from death and darkness into his marvelous light; into eternal life with Him, the Creator of all things.

Interpretation of a message in tongues:

I have a Word for you, America, and I urge you vehemently to take heed! I am the God of all flesh. I created those precious babies in the womb. They are fearfully and wonderfully made by my power. I created them, just as I created you in your mother’s womb. If you will humble yourselves and turn and be tender hearted, and fight for the unborn to save them alive; then will I hear from Heaven and I will have mercy on this land. But if you will continue to frame mischief by a law, and continue to slaughter innocent babies in the name of women’s health care; lies, wicked lies that are being spoken to justify murder; every person who slaughters a child is guilty of murder; that guilt is upon you until you repent. If you will turn and repent, then I will have mercy, but if you harden your heart and continue to kill the innocent, my judgment will come upon this land. This land will not continue as it has been, but it will be brought down; it will be brought to desolation, if you will not hearken unto Me. I warn you America this day! I am speaking this warning by my Spirit through my servant Rob. If you will say, Oh who’s he? I don’t need to listen to him; you don’t understand. It is Me speaking to you by my Spirit. I am warning you: Turn from your evil ways, humble yourselves before Me, and I will have mercy on you. But if you will harden your heart, judgment will follow. Thus says the Lord; the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

 A Broken And A Contrite Heart

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Amen! Father in Heaven, we thank you for this day; we thank you for this message that you have given me. Thank you Lord! Praise God! We pray that you would bless every person reading; that you would truly open hearts. Give us ears to hear and hearts to receive what you are saying by your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Thank you Father, Amen. Today’s program is called, A Broken And A Contrite Heart.

Let’s turn to 2 Sam 11:1. Before I go any further with this, I just want to remind us that King David was a man after God’s own heart. He loved God; he served God; he loved God with all his heart, and yet this happened in his life. It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house.

And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

Then David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David. When Uriah had come to him, David asked how Joab was doing, and how the people were doing, and how the war prospered. And David said to Uriah, Go down to your house and wash your feet. So Uriah departed from the king's house, and a gift of food from the king followed him. But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and did not go down to his house. So when they told David, saying, Uriah did not go down to his house, David said to Uriah, Did you not come from a journey? Why did you not go down to your house? And Uriah said to David, The Ark and Israel and Judah are dwelling in tents, and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are encamped in the open fields. Shall I then go to my house to eat and drink, and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing. Then David said to Uriah, Wait here today also, and tomorrow I will let you depart. So Uriah remained in Jerusalem that day and the next. Now when David called him, he ate and drank before him; and he made him drunk. And at evening he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but he did not go down to his house.

In the morning it happened that David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it by the hand of Uriah. And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retreat from him, that he may be struck down and die. So it was, while Joab besieged the city, that he assigned Uriah to a place where he knew there were valiant men. Then the men of the city came out and fought with Joab. And some of the people of the servants of David fell; and Uriah the Hittite died also. Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war, and charged the messenger, saying, When you have finished telling the matters of the war to the king, if it happens that the king's wrath rises, and he says to you: Why did you approach so near to the city when you fought? Did you not know that they would shoot from the wall? Who struck Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? Was it not a woman who cast a piece of a millstone on him from the wall, so that he died in Thebez? Why did you go near the wall?—then you shall say, Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also. So the messenger went, and came and told David all that Joab had sent by him. And the messenger said to David, Surely the men prevailed against us and came out to us in the field; then we drove them back as far as the entrance of the gate. The archers shot from the wall at your servants; and some of the king's servants are dead, and your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also. Then David said to the messenger, Thus you shall say to Joab: Do not let this thing displease you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Strengthen your attack against the city, and overthrow it. So encourage him. We see very clearly right here that David had hardened his heart. When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband. And when her mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.

2Sa 12:1, Then the Lord sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor. The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds. But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him. And a traveler came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare one for the wayfaring man who had come to him; but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him. So David's anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, As the Lord lives, the man who has done this shall surely die! And he shall restore fourfold for the lamb, because he did this thing and because he had no pity. Then Nathan said to David, You are the man! Thus says the Lord God of Israel: I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more! Why have you despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon. Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. Thus says the Lord: Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun. So David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David, The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.

Let’s turn to Psalm 51. David wrote this psalm at this time in his life. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight—that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise... Contrite means, deeply affected with grief and sorrow.  In verse 4, David said, Against you and you only, have I sinned and done this evil in your sight. In Psalm 38:18, David wrote, I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. That is godly sorrow. Psalm 32: David said, I acknowledge my sin unto you, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

Let’s turn to 2 Cor 6:17, Wherefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor 7:1, Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Open your hearts to us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have cheated no one. I do not say this to condemn; for I have said before that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together. Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation. For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more. For even if I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it. For I perceive that the same epistle made you sorry, though only for a while. Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; (In the King James Version it says, not to be repented of) but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. In 1 John 1:9, the Apostle John said, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When David sinned with Bathsheba he hardened his heart against God, and against Bathsheba and Uriah, even to the point of having Uriah killed with the sword of the children of Ammon. God, in His great love, sent Nathan the prophet to rebuke him and to chasten him and to show him his sin. Then David was sorry for his sin, and he acknowledged his sin to God. He truly had a broken and a contrite spirit before Him, and God accepted his repentance: he did not die. But God still pronounced judgment upon him. Nevertheless, godly sorrow works repentance not to be repented of. David truly repented and he turned from his sin, and he never went back to it again. He went on to serve God with all his heart, all the rest of his life.

Are you hardening your heart? Have you hardened your heart to believe everything is ok, when you know in your heart of hearts that you have sinned against God and not repented? Are you comforting yourself with the false doctrines and lies that false preachers are telling you: Satan’s ministers; ravenous wolves, who are devouring you, preying on your guilty conscience, to make merchandise of you; promising you liberty while they themselves are the slaves of corruption? Turn from these men! Turn from these lies! Come clean before your God. Come boldly before Him, confessing your sins; turn to Him with all your heart, and be washed in the Blood of the Lamb! His mercies are great, and if you will sincerely repent and acknowledge your sin, He will abundantly pardon. Don’t think He won’t blot out your name from the Lamb’s Book of Life if you won’t repent; if you keep hardening your heart.  Jesus said that in that day there is going to be weeping and gnashing of teeth, but a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

 A Psalm And A Teaching

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Father, we thank you for this day; we thank you for this program. Father, I pray that you would open our hearts to receive your Word this day by the Holy Spirit. Thank you Father, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

In 1 Cor 14:26 we read, How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. Today we have a psalm and a teaching, both of which are based in Psalm 132, speaking about A Habitation For The Lord.

My Habitation

I will not come

Up into my house

Or my bed;

I will not give

Slumber to my eyes

Until I find

A habitation for the Lord

The mighty God of Jacob.

For I have loved

The habitation of Thy house

And the place Thy honor dwells.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee

Is mighty; He will save;

He will rejoice over you with joy;

He’ll rest in His love;

He’ll joy over you with singing.

This is My rest;

Here will I forever dwell,

And I will teach Her My covenant,

And I will clothe Her

With My salvation,

For I have chosen Zion,

And I desire Her

For My Habitation,

And the place My honor dwells.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee

Is mighty; He will save;

He will rejoice over you with joy;

He’ll rest in His love;

He’ll joy; He will rejoice

Over you with joy;

He’ll rest in His love;

He’ll joy over you with singing;

He’ll joy over you with singing.

He’ll joy over you with singing.

I will not come

Up into my house

Or my bed;

Until I find

A habitation for the Lord

Let's turn to Psalm 132, Lord, remember David and all his afflictions; how he swore to the Lord, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house, or go up to the comfort of my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a habitation for the Mighty God of Jacob. Verse 13,  For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation: This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.  I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.  Let’s turn to 1 Ch 17:1, Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains.  Then Nathan said to David, Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you. David had it in his heart to build a house for the Lord: a glorious Temple in Jerusalem, but God sent the prophet Nathan to tell him in verse 10, …furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house. And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My Son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.  Clearly God was telling David about Jesus, the Seed of David, that He would build the Temple of the Lord. In verse 13, He said, I will be His Father and He shall be My Son.

Let’s turn to Zec 6:12, Then speak to him, saying, Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the Temple of the Lord; yes, He shall build the Temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Isa 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Luke 1:26, Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.

Let’s turn to Eph 2:19,  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy Temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit. This is the New Testament fulfillment of Psalm 132.

2 Cor 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be My people. Therefore, Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Chapter 7, verse 1, Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. It is a holy Temple: a holy Habitation of God. Glory to God!

God is making a holy people; He is purifying unto Himself His own special people: lively stones, that He is building together upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone, into a holy Temple in the Lord: a spiritual house; a holy priesthood, that we may offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Unholy sacrifices, in the flesh, are not acceptable to Him; He will not accept them. Nor will He inhabit an unclean house. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, in the light. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and don’t do the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with Him, and with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God desires a pure Temple: a holy habitation to dwell in, and He will have it!, through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus, and the work of the Cross in our lives: the breaking down of our hard, stubborn, rebellious hearts, that we may love Him and one another with a pure heart fervently.  Psalm 16:11,  You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

 Not Of The World

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. (Jude 1:2)

Thank you Heavenly Father; we thank you Heavenly Father this day; we bless your holy and righteous Name; Amen, the joy of the Lord is our strength! Thank you Lord. Praise God! Thank you Lord.

Today’s program is called, Not Of The World. In John 15:18, Jesus said, If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Does the world hate you?, or do they love you?

This is what has happened to the Church of Jesus Christ in America, and many other places in the world:

Each person, almost every individual Christian, has been drawn, through the lusts of the flesh, into looking at and listening to the things of this world on their cell phones; on their computers, or on their TVs, every day. It’s person by person; day by day, and not very much quality time with the Lord in the Word of God and in prayer. The same thing is going on with the preachers. So, the peoples’ and the ministers’ hearts are full of the world; the things of the world, and the things of the flesh, and when we come together, that’s what comes out of our mouths and that’s what we are doing. It is not the things of God’s Word or the things of His Kingdom. Of course, there are exceptions. Do we even have any clue what God is doing in the Earth, in our communities, or in our lives? How many of us are actually yielding to the Holy Spirit every day, as He leads us in the Word of God; in doing the Words of Jesus, in every situation, to listen to Jesus; to God’s still, small voice, and follow Him? Do you understand where we are in the Word of God? Do you care?

The answer:

Every individual Christian needs to repent of the love of the world; the lusts of their flesh and the lusts of their eyes, and come out from the world and come back to God; to His precious Word, and come back to the Holy Spirit as He reveals the Word of God to us, and come back to Jesus to be our Lord and Master in all our doings every day; to listen to His voice and follow Him every day. Jesus said, My sheep hear My voice and they follow me. We need to put away all our idols and uncleannesses and every defiling thing, and to purify ourselves by obeying His Word through the Spirit. 2 Peter 1:19, And so we have the prophetic Word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

1 Pet 1:13, Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever. You purify your souls by obeying the truth, the Word of God is the truth, through the Spirit.

Let’s go to 2 Pet 2:4, For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked. For that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds. Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. Verse 20, For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. Lot’s righteous soul was vexed every day by the things that he saw and heard in Sodom. Jesus said, I have chosen you out of this world; you are not of the world, even as I am not of this world. He told Pilate, My Kingdom is not of this world.

Once you begin to put off; put away, the uncleanness of this world and the flesh, and begin to increase in the knowledge of God and His holiness; as you are filled more and more with His truth and His love and His very presence, you will also experience more and more of His peace and joy, and you will begin to bear more fruit by the Word of God to His glory.

Let’s go to 1 John 1:1, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. If we walk in the darkness of this evil world, we will not have that fellowship with them, and we will not have true fellowship with one another. Getting together and talking about the things of the world is not fellowship. The early Church continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine, (the New Testament), in breaking of bread, and in fellowship, and in prayers. We need to return steadfastly to all those things. If we will; if we will come out of this world, and forsake the evil, we just might have a Church. We are going to have to fast and pray and put these things out of our lives, or nothing is going to change. Ask for grace to help you to do it; ask the Lord for strength and self discipline and love for Him and love for His people. Do you want a true Church in America, or do you just want to gratify your lusts? Jesus is going to have a spotless, holy bride. If you want to be accepted of Him, you must put the things of the world; the ways of the world and the ways of the flesh out of your life. The Scripture says that without holiness, no one will see the Lord. You can say you’re under grace all day long, but if you are not seeking after holiness; separation from this evil world and the sins of the flesh, don’t be deceived, you will not be with Him; you will not be part of the first resurrection. So repent, and cry out to the Father and to Jesus for grace to help you to do this, Amen! He loves you, and He will help you, if you are sincere. He will find out what’s in your heart, and if you will truly seek Him for righteousness, you shall be filled. 2 Cor 7:1, Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Holiness is not wimpy; it is not “Holier than thou”. Jesus was holy; He only did that which pleased His Father; He never sinned; not once. He ate and drank with sinners; He loved them and taught them the truth. He came to save sinners and to turn us from darkness to light. Jesus was not weak. He was the strongest man who ever walked on the Earth. And if we will humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways, the very things that make us weak, and follow Him, He is able to make us holy, that we might walk with Him and His Father, and dwell for ever in their glorious Kingdom. Holiness is not sitting around in fancy clothes and quoting Scripture. Those who will depart from evil and follow Jesus, He will put you to work, doing very interesting things and important things in His Kingdom. As He said, people will hate you, and you will have to learn to love them and overcome evil with good.

Holiness is achieved only through love. Because you love God; because He loved you and gave His only Son for you to save you from your sins. Because the Father loved you and Jesus loved you, you love them, and you want to please them and you seek them for grace to be holy; for help in the time of need, when you are being tempted. Again, God promised, if you seek after righteousness, you shall be filled. If you want to please the Father and do His will, you can. You say, That sounds real nice, but no one can do that. That’s not true. Jesus did not lie. The Scripture is true. If you will try and ask God for help, He will help you, if you will humble yourself and ask for His grace. It takes time; it takes continuing in His Word and learning the truth, and being set free by the Son of God from the evil in your life. It takes separating yourself from false prophets and false brethren and embracing the truth, and others who love the truth. We can do this, if we are willing; we can have a true Body of Christ in America, and be a true light to the world. Amen!
