A lot to Overcome

We have alot to overcome still, but that is the whole purpose and power of the Gospel. Jesus gave himself on the cross, not only to save us from our sins and the wrath of God which is coming upon all the wicked, but also to make a people, conformed to His image , holy and seperate from this present evil world, to take part in the first ressurection:Revelation 20:4-6,  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Jesus said, If you continue in my Word, then you will be my diciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Continue means reading and getting understanding from God by the Holy Spirit, and being led by him to do the Words He is revealing to you, and as you humble yourself and let God lead you this way you will be following Jesus and he will be setting you free through the truth from lies and spirits and sins that have you bound. As you walk this way with the Lord, and only He can bring you into this by His Holy Spirit, His Word, His truth is becoming a part of your very being, and you are being changed into His image. There will be persecutions and tribulations with it, but also glory, honor and peace and eternal life.
