Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 A Habitation of God

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

We praise you Father; we bless your holy name! Praise be to God! Praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the whole Earth. Thank you Father for sending your Son Jesus to be crucified for our sins, and that you raised Him from the dead on the third day and justified us from all things by which we could not be justified by the Law of Moses. Amen! Thank you for the Church of Jesus Christ. Lord, I ask you to bless this program; bless everyone reading  and give us grace to understand what you are saying Father, in Jesus’ name, Amen! Glory to God!

Today’s program is called, A Habitation Of God. Let’s turn to Psalm 132:1, Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids, until I find out a place for the Lord, a habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. Arise, O Lord, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength.

Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let your saints shout for joy. For your servant David's sake turn not away the face of your anointed. The Lord has sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne. If your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon your throne for evermore. For the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for my anointed. His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish. Let’s turn to 1 Chr 17:1, Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains. Then Nathan said to David, Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you. David had it in his heart to build a house for the Lord, a glorious temple in Jerusalem, but God sent the prophet Nathan to tell him, in verse 10,...Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house. And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever. Clearly God was telling David about Jesus, the Seed of David, that He would build the Temple of the Lord. In verse 13 He said, I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. Zec 6:12,…Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the Temple of the Lord; Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.  Isa 9:6, For unto us a Child is born; unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Luke 1:26, Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end. Eph 2:1, And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God… Verse 19, Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit. This is the New Testament fulfillment of Psalm 132. 1 Pet 2:1,  Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as lively stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

2 Cor 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

And what agreement has the Temple of God with idols? For you are the Temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch the what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father unto you and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

Chapter 7, verse 1, Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. It is a holy Temple; a holy habitation of God!  Glory to God! 1 Cor 3:16, Do you not know that you are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

God is making a holy people. He is purifying unto Himself His own special people, lively stones, that He is building together upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, into a holy Temple in the Lord; a spiritual house; a holy priesthood, that we may offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Unholy sacrifices in the flesh are not acceptable to Him. He will not accept them. Nor will He inhabit an unclean house. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in the light. If we say that we have fellowship with them and walk in darkness, we lie and don’t do the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with Him, and with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Jesus said, This people draws near to Me with their mouth, and honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. In vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. The Church today is full of the doctrines of men, and full of vain worship, not acceptable to God, not to mention all kinds of unconfessed sins and rebellion against the Lord. The Lord is not there. He is where people are seeking after Him with all their heart; seeking holiness and righteousness; seeking to offer him spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to Him; loving Him and keeping His Words, and loving one another in truth.  I want to be there. I want to be where Jesus is, and where people who really love Him are gathering together and He is in their midst. When you come into the place, you can feel His presence in a powerful way, and true, pure worship is being offered to Him. God desires a pure Temple; a holy habitation to dwell in, and He will have it, through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus and the work of the Cross in our lives: the breaking down of our hard, stubborn, rebellious hearts, that we may love Him and one another with a pure heart fervently. Psalm 16:11, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

 Women In The Church

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Lord! We thank you Jesus! We bless your holy Name! Thank you Lord, we bless your holy Name! Lord, we commit this program to you. I ask you to help people

to clearly understand your Word; to understand what you are saying in this program, and to consider it with an honest heart, in Jesus name, Amen.

Today’s program is called, Women In The Church. Let’s turn to 1 Tim 2:1, Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Notice: God desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.

And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. Chapter 3, verse 1, This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. Notice: a man. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife…

Let’s turn to 1 Cor 14:26, How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. Verse 34, Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. Or did the Word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant. Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Pet 3:1, Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the Word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror. Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

These are the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ concerning women in His Church, of which He is the Head, which He loves; which He gave Himself for upon the Cross, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. Men who rebel against the commandments of the Lord Jesus to allow women to speak in the Church; to be pastors and teach and usurp authority over men, do not love the Lord Jesus, nor do they love those women, nor the people they are speaking to. It is rebellion against the Lord. The prophet Samuel said to King Saul, when he disobeyed the commandment of the Lord, For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Let’s turn there, 1 Sam 15:22, So Samuel said: Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king. When we reject the Word of the Lord; the commandments of our Lord, we enter into rebellion and the sin of witchcraft. Witchcraft seeks to get things done by domination, intimidation or manipulation, things that the person wants, not what the will of  God is. It is never love. Love is always seeking to obey God and keep His Words.

Wherever you have women in authority in the Church, speaking and teaching, it is not God’s authority; it is rebellion and witchcraft is in operation. 1 Cor 11:1, Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Do you see that? That is God’s order. Jesus is completely subject to His Father; God is His head, and the man is to be completely subject to Christ, and the woman to the man.

That’s how God’s authority is set up. Men who allow their wives to rule over them are in rebellion, and they don’t love their wives or their family. If you are such a man, fall on your face and cry out to God in repentance, and ask Him to deliver you and change you and make you a man, and help you to truly love your wife. Repent of your rebellion. There is no way that your authority as a husband and a father will work properly if you are in rebellion yourself. Everything is out of order. God will help you when you truly surrender to Him to do His will and to keep His Words.

Women rule because the men reject God’s Words. Isa 3:8, For Jerusalem stumbled, and Judah is fallen, because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to their soul! for they have brought evil upon themselves. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.

Let’s turn to Rev 2:18, And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Verse 20, …you suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Verse 23, I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

The Lord knows your works, the good and the evil. If you will not repent, man or woman, of your rebellion and witchcraft, the Lord Jesus will judge you; He will give unto every one of us according to our works. Notice: Jesus was speaking to the leaders of the Church at Thyatira; He had something against them, because they allowed that woman to teach and to seduce His servants. The Lord has something against you: all you men, to whom He has entrusted the leadership of His Church, who are allowing women to teach and to usurp authority over men and to seduce His servants. You who are rejecting His commandments, given by His Apostles, to let this go on in the Church, He has something against you, and unless you repent of your rebellion and set things in proper order, He will deal with you according to your works. If we would judge ourselves we should not be judged.

The Lord Jesus is going to have a spotless Bride; a glorious Church, without spot or wrinkle, through the washing of the water by His Word. Those whom He loves He rebukes and chastens. Be zealous therefore and repent! Do you love Jesus? Will you obey His Words? He said, He who keeps My commandments, he it is who loves Me. He who keeps My commandments shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. True liberty; true freedom for men and women is in loving God and keeping; doing His Words; His commandments. The end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned. The love and faith in a place of rebellion is feigned; it is not genuine. The Apostle Peter said, Purify your souls by obeying the truth through the Spirit.

Women, remember the words of the mother of your Lord, when the angel Gabriel came to her and told her she was going to be the mother of the Son of God. Mary said, Behold the handmaiden of the Lord! Be it unto me according to your Word.

 Corrupt Communication

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Heavenly Father! We thank you Lord! We thank you for this day; thank you for this program you have given me Lord. Thank you for this message. Open our hearts and our minds to receive the words that you are speaking by your Holy Spirit through me. Thank you Lord. Without you I can do nothing, nothing! Amen.

Today’s program is called, Corrupt Communication. Eph 4:29, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Let’s turn to 2 Peter 2:4, For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.

Let’s go to Mat 15:1, Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. He answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother, and, he who curses father or mother, let him be put to death. But you say, Whoever says to his father or mother, Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God—then he need not honor his father or mother. Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Mat 15:15  Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us. So Jesus said, Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man. Mat 12:33, Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

What kind of words are coming out of our mouths?  What kind of things are in our hearts? What kind of things are we looking at and listening to? In John 8:31, Jesus said,

If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Psalm 119:97, Oh, how I love Your law! (your Word) It is my meditation all the day. Deu 11:18, Therefore you shall lay up these Words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,  that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of Heaven upon the Earth. Gal 6:7, Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Rom 8:5, For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Verse 12, Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Clearly, what you sow you shall reap. If you sow good seed, you will reap good fruits. If you spend time in God’s holy Word, reading and meditating in it, and seeking God for the Holy Spirit to teach you and give you understanding; if you continue therein, you will truly be Jesus’ disciple, and He will teach you the truth, and the truth will set you free. The Word of God with the Holy Spirit will wash you and cleanse you of your filthiness. Your heart and soul will be purified more and more, and the Lord will lead you in doing His Words. You will be busy doing good; doing the good works He has ordained for you. As your heart is cleansed and purified, so will your conversation improve: you will be speaking good things that edify your brothers and sisters, and you will thereby be ministering His grace to those that hear you. This will not happen in our lives unless we take the Words of Jesus seriously and put ourselves to them. If we spend hours and hours indulging ourselves in seeing and hearing the evil things that are all over the internet and the television, and everywhere you go here in Sodom and Gomorrah, it will not happen. “I go to church three times a week; I fast; I pray; I read the Bible.”  That in itself will not get it done. We must seriously seek God for His righteousness; to be cleansed of our filthiness, and we must turn away and be separated from the evil. Therefore, Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Chapter 7, verse 1,  Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Heb 12:14, … holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

1 Peter 1:13,  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written,  Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever, because All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.

Don’t enter into defiling conversation. Submit to God and resist the devil. The devil will use people to try to defile you, along the way, as you are seeking to overcome, by tempting you to speak evil things; corrupt things, that may still be in your heart. When you enter into the evil, worldly conversation you can be defiled. If this happens, repent to God, and to other people, as God leads you, and seek God to deliver you and cleanse you. Walk on with Him, continuing in His Word, and following His Spirit. Don’t let Satan, or your own heart condemn you. Keep on following Jesus. Look up! For your redemption draws near. 1 Sam 12:20, Then Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name's sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people. Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.  But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.

 You Are Not Your Own

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Father; we thank you for this day; thank you for this program Father, in Jesus’ name. I ask you to open our hearts; open our ears; open our minds, to receive what you are saying by your Holy Spirit out of your Word this day, in the name of Jesus, Amen Father. Today’s program is called,  You Are Not Your Own.

You are a slave! Every single human being is a slave. You are not your own. Do you not know that to whom you yield yourself a slave to obey, his slave you are to whom you obey, whether of sin, leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness. Rom 6:17, But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You are dead! You are either dead in sins, or you are dead in Christ: dead to sin, and your life is hidden with God in Christ. When Christ, who is your life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory. You are not your own. If you are continuing in sin, you are a slave of sin; you are dead in sins. We were all dead in sins until Christ laid down His life for us upon the Cross at Calvary and shed His Blood. He died for our sins. He came to set us free from them by the sacrifice of Himself. He knew no sin, though He was tempted in every way. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin upon the Cross, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him; notice: in Him

When you hear of His love and sacrifice for you, and you believe on Him: that God raised Him from the dead; that He was crucified for your sins, and raised again for your justification; when you repent and believe on Him, confessing your sins; when you receive Him and confess Him as your Lord; notice: Lord, all the work of the Cross is applied to you, and He comes to dwell in your heart by faith: you become a son or daughter of God, born from above. You are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Gal 4:6, And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

You also must be baptized in water for the remission of your sins. You must die with Him. Let’s turn to Rom 6:3, Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Still, you are not your own! You are a slave of God. You must then be baptized in the Holy Spirit, that He may lead you every day, denying yourself; yielding to Him; taking up your cross and following Jesus to do His will; the Father’s will, not your own. You are not your own! You are a slave of God! If you don’t want to do His will, but you want to do your own will, then you may fall into rebellion. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. If you are in rebellion, you are still not your own; you are a slave of sin; a slave of the devil. And if you refuse to repent and turn back to God, you will die in your sins.

Let’s turn to 1 John 3:1,  Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin, (does not practice sin). Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins, (practices sin), is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. That’s talking about willfully practicing sin. If you sin you must repent and be cleansed in order to continue with Jesus. When you do, you are forgiven, and you are cleansed by His precious Blood, and you walk on with Him in obedience, and with a clear conscience.

Let’s turn to John 8:31, Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered Him, We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, You will be made free? Jesus answered them, Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Rom 6:20, For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. You are free from sin in Jesus as you continue with Him in obedience, keeping His Words. He is your Master and you are His slave; you are bought with a price; you are not your own. Consider the price!: the precious, sinless Blood of Jesus which He willingly shed to pay your ransom for your redemption from sin and the power of the devil. Jesus came to the slave market, and He paid a price for you; He bought you and you became His. You are not your own. He is your Lord and Master. Jesus said, My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. Do you hear His voice? Do you follow Him?

Titus 1:15, To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. Titus 2:11, For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 1 John 3:3, And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. The Apostle Peter said, …purify your souls by obeying the truth through the Spirit… God’s Word is the truth: yielding to the Spirit to obey the Word of God. Only those who love God will do this. It takes work; it takes dedication to Him. If you love yourself, you will be happy to accept and embrace the false doctrines that teach you it’s all done for you; you are covered; you can live after the flesh and go to Heaven. No, the Scripture says, If you live after the flesh you will die, (Rom 8:13), but if you put to death the deeds of the body through the Holy Spirit, you will live. That’s how it’s done: you purify yourselves by obeying the truth through the Spirit. It takes work: you have to seek after God. If you seek after righteousness you shall be filled. If you don’t love Him, you won’t do it. 1 Cor 6:19, Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
