Repent and Believe the Gospel!


REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 The Lord's Treasure

 

Greetings in the name of Jesus ! This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. My name is Rob Haymes. Today we are going to talk about The Lord's Treasure. Did you know that the Lord has a treasure? Let's turn to Isaiah, chapter 33, verse 5, The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. Verse 6, And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure. We are going to go through several scriptures that talk about the wonderful blessings of the fear of the Lord. Many people feel like fearing God is a negative thing. No, fearing God is a good thing; it's really a blessing. That's why it's called The Lord's Treasure; because of all the promises that are given in the scriptures regarding the fear of the Lord. Deu 5:29, the Lord said, O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Deu 10:12&13, And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? So, we see here that the fear of the Lord and the love of the Lord go together. The fear of the Lord is for our good.

God is mighty. The Bible says He is to be greatly feared, because of His might and His great power. He told Moses one day, Get out of the way Moses, I'll destroy them as one man, and I'll make a new nation out of you, when Moses and the children of Israel were in the wilderness. God could destroy the entire human race in a moment, but that is not His purpose. He loves us so much! He created us! He loves us, and He gave His only begotten Son Jesus to live as a man, without sin, tempted in every way, yet without sin, that he might become the spotless Lamb, and offer Himself a living sacrifice on the cross for our sins. That's how much He loves us! He became a man, and He died for us to take away our sins, why?, so He could bring us into fellowship with Him, fellowship with Him, communion with Him. He is Holy! He is mighty! He wants us to be holy, and to fear Him, and to fear His great power, and to give Him honor and glory, and walk with Him. It's for our good! If we fear God we will depart from evil, and it's for our good! It's a great treasure to fear the Lord! So many blessings come from fearing the Lord! He delights in those that fear Him. He loves us. He is not looking to destroy us. Job 28:28,  And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Psa 19:9, The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. So, we see here that the fear of the Lord is clean, it's pure, it's a good thing. It will keep us pure, it will keep us clean, if we fear the Lord, and if we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not grievous.

Psa 22:23&24, Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. The Lord hears the prayers of those that fear Him. Perhaps some of you have been praying; and you've been praying, and praying, and you're not getting an answer. Perhaps you should check yourself: Do I fear the Lord? Am I doing things that are not pleasing to Him? Ask the Lord. Go before the Lord. Ask Him to show you. Humble yourself. Tell the Lord; Lord you know I don't fear you. Be honest with the Lord, and ask Him to teach you His fear. He will do it! Psa 25:14, The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him. If we fear the Lord, He will teach us, reveal to us His Word, His covenant. We are in the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, and if you want understanding, God will give it to you if you will fear Him. He will teach you His covenant.

Psa 33:8&9, Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. Psa 33:18&19, Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. If we fear the Lord, He will keep us alive, even in famine. He will keep us from death, He will deliver us from death. Glory to God! Psa 34:7, The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. If we fear Him, God will have His angels round about us to deliver us, to deliver us from evil. Verse 11, if we will hearken to the Lord, He will teach us His fear; Come you children, hearken unto me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. So, the Lord will teach us His fear if we will hearken to Him. Psalm 103, thank you Jesus, verse 17, But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; If we will fear the Lord, His mercy will be not only upon us, but upon our children and our grand children. Is that not a wonderful promise! Psa 111:10, The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. If we will fear the Lord, we will begin to learn wisdom. We need to learn God's wisdom. Some of you are wise in your own eyes, you are wise in the ways of this world, but you need to lay that down. The scripture says in 1 Corinthians 3: 18, Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. So, you need to become a fool in that sense, that you may learn God's wisdom. You need to humble yourself and fear the Lord, and then you'll begin to learn God's wisdom. Pro 1:7, The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. So, not only is the fear of the Lord the beginning of wisdom, it is also the beginning of knowledge. You will begin to have true knowledge if you fear the Lord. You will know the truth. He will begin to teach you His covenant. He will teach you the truth, and you will begin to have true knowledge, and true wisdom.

Pro 8:13, The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. If we fear the Lord, we will hate evil. We will turn from evil. Pro 10:27, The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. The fear of the Lord prolongeth days. Our life will be full and long if we fear the Lord, according to His will. Pro 14:26&27, In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. If we fear the Lord, our children will have a place of refuge, our children will be taken care of. We will have strong confidence if we fear the Lord. And, the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. What a blessing! Pro 16:6, By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. Pro 19:23, The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. Pro 22:4, By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life. 

Let's look at Isaiah 11, verse 2, And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; verse 3, and shall make Him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord... We know these scriptures are talking about Jesus; if you look at verse 1, And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. Jesus is called the Branch. Jesus walked in the fear of the Lord. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the fear of the Lord; verse 2,...the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. He will lead you, as you yield to Him, to walk in the fear of God, in the way that He shall choose for you. Psa 25:12, What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. 

Act 9:31, Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied. As you walk in the fear of the Lord, the Holy Ghost will comfort you. He will be with you. Act 10:35, But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. These words were spoken by the Apostle Peter at Cornelius' house. Act 10:1&2, There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. And, if you read on, you see that an angel came to Cornelius, and told him that his prayers and his alms were come up as a memorial before God, and he had him send for Peter. Peter came to his house, preached the Gospel, and Cornelius, and his household, and his friends were saved. Not only that, but they received the Holy Ghost. God blessed Cornelius because he feared Him, with all his house. He was a blessed man. He had servants. He had wealth. He was very blessed, and he was a devout man, and he prayed to God always.  Pro 28:14, Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. So, not only does the fear of the Lord bring blessings, but you will be happy. If you fear the Lord you'll have real happiness. You don't think Cornelius and his family were happy on that day when the Holy Ghost was poured out on them?! Oh yes! They had the joy of the Lord, not only that day, but for many days there after. Psalm 128, Thank you Jesus !! Verse 1, Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.... happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. If we fear the Lord we are not going to be in torment. That's ungodly fear. Ungodly fear brings torment, but the fear of the Lord brings happiness! It brings joy! It brings peace! It brings all the blessings of God, pouring out upon a person that will fear Him! They will come upon you and over take you! Hallelujah! Psalm 128, verse 1, says, Blessed is everyone that fears the Lord! This is not for a select few. God is not a respecter of persons, blessed is everyone that fears the Lord!

Let's look at what Jesus said in Matthew 10, verse 28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. There is a very clear reason, spoken by Jesus, why we should not fear a man. If you have the fear of the Lord, you will not be afraid of men. You will not. You will fear God, and you will always want to do what pleases God, even in the face of strong men. You will not fear them, but you will do what God wants, you will want to honor God and please Him. Also we must fear Him, for He is able to destroy both our soul and our body in hell. Again, as I said before, that is not His desire. He has no pleasure, the Bible says, in the death of the wicked. His desire is for us to be saved! His desire is for all men to repent, and come unto the knowledge of the truth! But, those who reject His salvation through His Son Jesus Christ condemn themselves. God is not looking to condemn us, but we must fear Him, for He is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. As we saw in psalm 128, everyone that fears the Lord shall be blessed. God is not a respecter of persons, happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you. So, I urge you to pray, ask God to teach you His fear. Ask, and you shall receive, that you might partake of The Lord's Treasure!

 The Hand Of The Lord

Greetings in the name of Jesus. This is Rob Haymes. This program is called 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we're going to talk about The Hand Of The Lord. Let's turn to Isaiah 5:20-25, Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Verse 25,...for all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. The hand of the Lord is stretched out still, ladies and gentlemen. This plague, which we call the Corona Virus, was given to us by God. When this virus was beginning, back in April, my wife and I were in the hospital, and we were praying very much because of the situation. One morning I received a tongue and interpretation from the Lord. The Lord told me that He put this plague in the Earth, and he was watching His people, to see if we would humble ourselves and pray and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways. That's what He spoke to me. Of course, if we go to those scriptures: 2 Chron 7:13& 14, If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. So, it is upon us that call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is upon us to humble ourselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways, and seek His face, and then He will hear from heaven. But, if we will not do that, He will not hear from Heaven, and He will not heal our land. It's up to us. The Lord also told me, later on, I was praying, and I was asking the Lord, during the time when the virus was really going strong, in America, and around the world, in Europe, I was asking Him when this would end, and the Lord told me, This plague will continue until I lift my hand. No one can stay His hand.

Joshua chapter 4 talks about the time when the children of Israel crossed over Jordan to go into the land and take possession of it. When they had finished crossing the river, they placed twelve stones as a memorial; Jos 4:20-24, And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal. And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones? Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever. Consider those miracles people, look in the scriptures. Look in Exodus. Look here in Joshua, and look at what the Lord did, just with those two miracles. Consider the might of those miracles. Consider the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, that you might fear the Lord your God forever. 1Sa 12:14&15, If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God: But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers. We are seeing the hand of the Lord against us here in America. There are many things happening, this plague, the fires in California, Oregon, and Washington, we just had a hurricane in Louisiana. The hand of the Lord is against us. He is not totally destroying us, which He could do in a moment. Believe me, if God wanted to destroy us, He could do it in a moment. In a second He could destroy the entire human race. That is not His purpose. He loves us so much that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ; He sent Him here to Earth to live as a man, to suffer and die for our sins, and to pay for our sins with His own sinless life, and His own shed Blood. That's how much He loves us. He proved how much He loves us. But if we will snub our noses at Him and turn our back on Him, then the hand of the Lord shall be upon us. 1Sa 12:20-25, And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.  We're talking to God's people.  Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king. 

Please consider that these are the words that the Holy Spirit is leading me to speak to you this morning.

Daniel, chapter 4; Many of you are familiar with the story of King Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel, where the Lord turned him into a beast, till seven times passed over him, he was a beast. He ate grass. I don't have time to go into that whole story, but at the end of those days: Dan 4:34-37, And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. Make no mistake, those of you that are reading this, and you are walking in your pride, and you think you are something, don't forget these words: Those that walk in pride, He is able to abase. The best thing you could do is what Daniel said to King Nebuchadnezzar, after he interpreted his dream to him, in verse 27, he said these words: Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. 

Isa 14:26&27, This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? 

Isa 66:1&2, Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor (humble) and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. Not only do we need to believe and consider the words of the Lord, the words of the Living God given by His Spirit, but we need to tremble at His Word, we need to fear the Lord at this hour, and we need to turn to Him with all our heart, and repent of our evil doings. We are so blind and human centered in our thinking. We no longer fear God, nor consider that all things, including the entire Earth and all the Universe are under His hand, and He does what He wills in the kingdom of men. We act as though He is merely the creation of some religious people of the past, and we have turned our back on Him, who is the fountain of life, from whom all blessings flow, by whom all things consist; He is our Creator, He is our Savior, He is our Provider, He is our healer, He is our Deliverer, and our true Friend!, who loved us so much, that He became a man, as we are, and lived among us, so that He might be tempted in every way as we are, and yet never yield to the temptations. He overcame the Devil, and all sin and unrighteousness, as He offered Himself to die for our sins on the cross, so that we might be forgiven. He rose from the dead, that we might enter into eternal life with God!, into fellowship with Him and His Father. (1John 1:3) His name is Jesus, and because He humbled Himself unto the death of the cross, the Father has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, in Heaven, on the Earth, and under the Earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father. Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus, that though He was in the form of God, He humbled Himself! That's what we need to do! We need to humble ourselves before the living God! No one can stay His hand! We need to cry out to Him for mercy! We need to turn from our evil ways, and call upon the Living God, that He might have mercy!

Dan 9:4-8, This is Daniel's prayer of repentance: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, and we could add: and to all America, and the World.

 

 

Tongue and interpretation given by the Holy Spirit, please see 1 Corinthians, 12:7-11;

The interpretation:

I am the God of all of you. I am the one who created you. I am the one who died for you, who loves you with an everlasting love. This day I plead with you through my servant, that you might turn from your iniquities, and seek my face. For my hand is stretched out still, yet my ear is open to your prayers, if you will come humbly before me and seek my face, as those did in days of old, when I hearkened to their prayers, and I turned and relented of the evil that I was about to bring upon nations and cities to destroy them. If you too will hearken and turn to Me and seek my face in this hour, which is a crucial hour for your nation; if you will hearken to Me and turn to Me with all your heart, I will hear from Heaven and I will heal your land, says the Lord.

Walk In The Light

 

Thank you Heavenly Father. We thank you Jesus. Greetings everyone. This is Rob Haymes. This program is called 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today's program is about walking in the light. Let's turn to 1Jn 1:1-10, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us; That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. We see here in verse 5, This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we are in fellowship with Him, but we are walking in darkness, we are lying. We are deceiving ourselves, and we are deceiving other people. But, if we will walk in the light; the light of God shining on us, and in us , will expose any darkness, and our desire is to walk with the Lord and to please Him, that darkness will be driven out of our lives, and we will have true fellowship with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ, and with one another. We cannot have real fellowship with one another without having true fellowship with the Father and with His Son.

Let's turn to John chapter 17. Jesus was praying to the Father here, and in John 17:20-23, He said, Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Let's just quickly turn to John 8:29, And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As we walk in the light, seeking always to please the Father, exercising ourselves constantly to have a conscience void of offence toward God and man, we will have fellowship with the Father, His Son Jesus, and each other. We cannot have fellowship with God, or each other, if we allow sin in our lives, or darkness, or lies. Sin separates us from God and each other. In Him is no deceit, no violence, no sin. 1Jn 5:20, And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 

If you remember, Jesus said, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. As we walk in the truth, as we walk in the light, we will be in Him, He in us, and we will have fellowship, true fellowship with each other. And, as we gather together in true fellowship, loving the Lord, always walking with a conscience void of offence toward God and man, we can have real fellowship with God and He will inhabit our praises, and we will commune with Him, and we will be in His presence. The Bible says, In His presence is fullness of joy, at His right hand pleasures forever more, and the world will see that and they will say, God is in you of a truth!, and they will be drawn to Jesus, and they will come to the Lord. But if we walk in sin and try to justify it, we walk in darkness; we lie and do not the truth. And the world sees it. Don't think they don't see it. They see that. They see that falsehood. They see that hypocrisy, and they say, I don't need that.

1Jn 4:9-13, In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. Verse 16, And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. What happened to the church? When you read the Bible, the early church, they had all things in common, they had all things in common, they were one with Jesus, and one with one another. What happened to the church? We have divisions. How did divisions happen?; offences, people hardening their heart, not humbling themselves, not repenting, not forgiving one another, people with prideful agendas wanting to be great and causing divisions. Paul said to the Corinthians, I've heard that there is division among you, and He said, you are carnal. That's carnality. The church is full of it, full of division.

Darkness is coming on the earth, but Jesus is the light of the world. If any man follow Him, he shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life, John 8:12. So as the darkness is coming over the earth, which we know, we can see that darkness is on the earth, great darkness, gross darkness covers the people, but Jesus is the light of the world. If any man will follow Him, he shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Again, going back to 1 John, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. So we must seek that. We must truly seek to walk in the light, to be filled with righteousness. He that seeks after righteousness shall be filled. Thank you Jesus.

Those of you that are longing for true fellowship with the Lord and with brothers and sisters, you can have it. We can have that if we will seek after righteousness, if we will really follow Jesus, and have a heart willing to be corrected by Him. Jesus said in Revelation 3:19, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore and repent. So if you have sin in your life, repent now! Come to Jesus. There is no condemnation. Confess your sin to Him. If you have sinned against a brother or a sister, go to them, walk in the light, let it be exposed. There is no condemnation. Confess it. Confess your faults one to another that you may be healed, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son will cleanse you of that sin, and your fellowship will be restored with the Lord, and with one another. That is how we do it. That is how we can walk on in true fellowship. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and God has no fellowship with darkness. There is no fellowship: light with darkness. There is no fellowship: righteousness with sin. The lies that are in the church right now are totally of Satan; that somehow everything is ok, everything is covered, and we don't need to confess our sins. That is a lie. If we have sin, we need to confess it, we need to turn from it with all our heart, and walk on with that clear conscience, no offence toward God and man, and we can have true fellowship with God, and true fellowship, one with another.

1Pe 2:1-5, Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. That's what God wants. Out of our true fellowship will come true spiritual sacrifices, true worship unto God. Jesus said in John 4, when He was talking to the woman at the well, God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. The Father, He said, seeks such. The Father in Heaven is seeking for those that will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Mat 15:8&9, Jesus said, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. The church of Jesus Christ is full of this; full of vain worship, full of doctrines of men. It is not pleasing to God. We need to turn from that. We need to humble ourselves. We need to turn from our evil ways. We need to purify ourselves. Jesus is coming back soon! We need to be ready to meet Him. We need to be serving Him in Spirit and truth. We need to be worshipping Him in Spirit and truth. God is making us into a Holy Priesthood, a Holy Habitation for Him. As we offer up true, pure worship to Him, He inhabits our praises. If we come to worship Him with unconfessed sins, offenses, unforgiveness, our worship is in vain. It is not acceptable to Him. We must repent and return to our God! He is ready to pardon and cleanse us, so that we can offer an acceptable offering pleasing to Him and enter into His Glory!

1Co 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1Co 6:15-20 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. We belong to God. We are His children. We do what He wants. We serve Him, not to do our own pleasure and ask Him to justify us and take us to heaven while we do our own wicked deeds. No way! That's not going to work. We belong to Him. We've been bought with a price!; with the precious Blood of the Lamb. We need to come before God, humble ourselves, wash us, make ourselves clean through the Word of God and the Holy Ghost and offer Him a true offering of praise! Amen! God is worthy of true worship and praise!

Eph 2:19-22, Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. We are the Temple of God. We are the Holy Temple of God. The Temple of God is Holy! Amen!

Eph 4:1-6  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Little Things

 

1Jn 1:1-10,  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us; That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 

When we sin, even a “little” sin, against our brother or sister, we need to go to them, humble our self and repent, and make it right with them, and with God. In Luke  17:3&4, Jesus said,  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Our pride wants us to just brush it off and say, that’s no big deal, that’s just a little thing, or, I will look foolish, etc. But it is very important that we keep things clear between us and our brothers and sisters, between us and God , and in our conscience. Otherwise, we have “little” unconfessed sins building up and our character flaws are not being dealt with, our hearts are being hardened, our love is growing cold “little” by “little”, and eventually we have a “big” problem and broken fellowship with each other and with God. So, humble yourself, go to your brother or sister, confess your fault to them and to God. Ask God to cleanse you of that sin, acknowledge it as sin. He will answer and continue to cleanse you. And, learn to walk in love and forgiveness. I heard a person say once that God told him, ‘The little things are the big things.” No matter how foolish you feel, even if people laugh at you, you are free, you are clear, and you walk on with no guilt, cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. You will be getting better and better, and soon you will be able to love more consistently. You will continue being conformed to the image of your savior, Jesus Christ. Praise God! Don’t let anyone condemn you or make you feel guilty. Just stand up and rejoice and walk on with Jesus. Jesus said in John 8:12, I am the light of the world. He that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
