Repent and Believe the Gospel!

REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Jesus said,"The time is fullfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel"
The Gospel is that the Word of God became a man; Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, the Son of God, full of grace and truth, and lived in this world with every temptation that you and I face, and yet He never sinned and He gave himself to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day the Father raised Him from the dead. He was seen of above 500 witnesses after He arose and He ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is there right now, alive, making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is coming again with all the saints and all the angels in great power and glory and all who live and believe in him will be united with him and thus will we ever be with the Lord. I urge you to seek Him now, during this time while the long suffering of God is waiting, for the Day of the Lord is coming soon. He loves you and He will save you to the utter most if you will put your trust in Him.

 Founded On The Rock

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes with Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Lord, Amen! We thank you Lord, Amen! Thank you Father! Father, I want to thank you for this program that you’ve given me this week: Founded On The Rock.

I thank you for it. I pray that you would open our eyes; open our ears; help us to hear and understand what you are saying, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let’s turn to John chapter 3, verses 14-31, Jesus said,   And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Let’s turn to 1 John 1:1-10, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

1 John 2: 1-6, My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. Verses 15-17, Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Let’s turn now to Mat 5:1-20, and read from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount,  And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the Earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till Heaven and Earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

After this statement Jesus taught us many things, which, if we will do them, our righteousness will exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, and we will be able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. At the end He said, in Mat 7:12-14, Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. There is a way which leads to destruction, and most people are going that way, and there is a way which leads to life and few people even find it. Then Jesus spoke about false prophets who come in sheep’s clothing: they are speaking the Word of God, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. They don’t care about you; they come to devour you; to make merchandise of you, as the Apostle Peter said. Then Jesus said some very interesting things in verses 21-23 of Mat 7, Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! These are Christian people who call Jesus Lord. Not only that, but they have the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives: doing wonderful works, prophesying, and casting out demons in Jesus’ name. These are Christian people, and yet they are practicing lawlessness in their lives. They have sin in their lives and they have not repented, and Jesus said that He will say to them in that Day, I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness. He said they that do the will of His Father in Heaven shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Then in Mat 7:24-27, He finished His message by saying, Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell, and great was its fall. Christians like to say that Jesus is their rock and they are going to make it through the storm because He is their rock. That is not what Jesus said here. He said if you hear what He said, and if you do what He said, then, and only then, is your house founded on the rock. Do you see Brothers and sisters? It’s what you do! What are you doing? Are you doing these things which Jesus spoke in His Sermon on the Mount? Do you want to? You can if you want to. Remember Jesus said, Blessed are they who seek after righteousness for they shall be filled. He said, Seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened, ask and it shall be given, for everyone who asks receives!

Will you come out into the light? Will you come to Jesus and confess your sins? If you will confess your sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins, and to cleanse you in His precious Blood of all your unrighteousness, if you will come to Him, like the woman who came weeping to Jesus and washed His feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair and kissed them and anointed them with precious ointment. Jesus said to Simon the Pharisee, who was judging her in his self righteousness, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much, but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. How much do you love Jesus? How much does He love you? Do you know how much He loves you; how much He suffered for your sins that you might be set free from them and be made righteous in Him? You who say you love Him, what are you doing? Are you keeping His Words and walking in His love, or are you trampling Him under your feet and doing despite to the Spirit of His grace by continuing in your wicked deeds and refusing to repent; believing the lies that the false prophets are telling you: that everything is going to be ok. If this is you, it is not going to be ok.

To those who have repented of their sins and continued in the light with Jesus, being cleansed by His Blood, and led by the Holy Spirit in doing good: eternal life. To those who have been contentious and would not obey the truth, but obeyed unrighteousness: indignation and wrath. (Rom 2:5-12) Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that does evil, or practices sin, of the Jew first and also of the Gentile, but glory, honor, and peace to every man that works good, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.

For there is no partiality with God.

I want to encourage all of you to take time to read the Sermon on the Mount in Mat 5-7, and meditate on the things Jesus said, and ask yourself, “Am I doing these things?” “Do I really love my enemies?  Is there someone I need to forgive?” Ask the Lord to grant you grace to understand His Words and to do them in your own life, that you may truly be founded on the rock; that you may be able to endure the things that are coming on the Earth and that you may stand before Him in that Day with joy and confidence. Mat 7:24&25, Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was Founded On The Rock.
