Give And It Shall Be Given

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This program is called 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about Give And It Shall Be Given. 

Consider the Sea of Galilee vs the Dead Sea; giving and serving others vs manipulating and controlling others to give to you and serve you; self love, love of pleasure, love of money vs loving the Lord and loving others, and giving to and serving others. People operate flatteries, witchcrafts, domination, intimidation, manipulation and control, with seducing spirits, to get people to do what they want; to get them to give to them, and to do what they want them to do; especially to give them money, and very often they do it in the name of Jesus. People that love the Lord and follow Him, walking in the Holy Spirit, will be loving others and doing good to them; laying down their lives for them; even as Jesus loved us and gave His life for us a sacrifice for our sins. The Father so loved us that He gave His only begotten, beloved Son a living sacrifice for our sins that we might inherit eternal life with Him in His Glory. Matt 10:7&8,  Jesus sent out the disciples and He said, And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 

The Apostle Paul told Timothy about perilous times coming in the last days, because people will be lovers of their own selves, lovers of money, lovers of pleasure. As those people get involved in your life and begin to control and dominate you to get what they want from you, it can create peril in your life. They can cause you to go astray from following the Lord, and fall out of His blessing into dangerous territory.  Let’s go there: 2 Timothy, chapter 3, verses 1-5, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! Here Paul gives a thorough description of those people and what they do to other people. If you let them dominate you and influence you, if you follow them, they will lead you into perilous times; and only the Lord, in His great mercy, can help you to escape their destructions; and He will, if you will humble yourself and call upon Him in your time of trouble. Verse 5, From such people turn away! Paul also gives the solution to this problem in verses 15-17, ...and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work; continuing in the Scriptures; the Holy Spirit revealing the Word of God to you, and leading you every day to walk in it; walking with Jesus, keeping His Words, hearing His voice, as He speaks to you by the Spirit, and following HIM, not any other man! He said, My sheep hear MY voice, and they follow ME. The voice of a stranger they will not follow, for they know not the voice of a stranger. He leads you into green pastures; to clear waters; in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake, to overcome strongholds and wickedness in your life; to purify you, and make ready for Himself a holy people, zealous for good works. Mat 20:25-28, But Jesus called them to Himself and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. 

Luke 19:1-10, Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house. So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner. 

Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold. And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.  Are you lost? Jesus has come to seek and to save you. Consider how much He loved you; that He willingly gave Himself to the torment, and torture, and death of the Cross to bear your sins in His body that you might be saved. He came to seek and to save you and He gave Himself for you. When salvation came to Zacchaeus, the first thing he did upon believing on Jesus was give!; was make right if he took anything wrongfully from anyone! The next thing he did was he prepared a feast for Jesus and many other tax collectors. Let’s turn to Luke 6:27-38, Jesus said, But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Love your enemies and do good. Be merciful, as your Father is merciful. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. This is how God’s Kingdom works, not any other way. Faith works by love. Love does no evil to his neighbor. Love gives. Love shows mercy. Love is kind. Love forgives! 1 John 3:16-18, By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. John 6:51, Jesus said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.   Jesus gave.   Jesus said, It is more blessed to give than it is to receive.

1 Cor 13:4-8, Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. God is love and he who abides in love abides in God. Beloved, if God so loved us, that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus for us, then we also ought to love one another. When you are seeking to control your brother or sister to get them to do what you want for your own benefit, you are not walking in the love of God; but rather in self love. You are not walking in the Holy Spirit of God, but rather, most likely, in a spirit of witchcraft. If you can get people to yield to you and follow you, they will do what you want, and you will have your money or pleasure or power or honor of man, but there is a great cost involved. You have completely missed God, and you and those who follow you may end up in destruction, and you will be held responsible for them. Jesus said that it is more blessed to give than to receive. When you are loving people and serving them, giving to them what the Lord has given you and commanded you to give into their life, there is a flow; a flow from God

into your life, and a flow out of your life to bless the people He sends you to; just like the Sea of Galilee: The Lord sends the rain onto Mount Hermon, and the waters begin to flow down to the Sea of Galilee. All kinds of blessings flow to the people of Galilee: abundance of water, and fish, and commerce. Then the blessings flow out of the Sea into the Jordan River, and water and bless the whole nation of Israel. Then they flow into the Dead Sea. The flow stops there, and so does the life and the blessing. So it is, if you are only concerned with your own life, and what you can receive from others; you are like the Dead Sea. Things flow to you, but the blessing and the life stops right there. It is more blessed to give than to receive. The real blessing is in giving to others. So humble yourself before the Lord and acknowledge the truth about yourself to Him, and open yourself up to give life and blessing to others, and you will be truly blessed. Give and it shall be given. The Father gave His Son, and He gave His life for all of us, that we might have life. He who has the Son has His life. As we walk in obedience, following Jesus, He will lead us by His Spirit to give to others that they may be edified; that they may be blessed by the things the Lord has given us. 

 And We Are Witnesses

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. Today’s program is called, And We Are Witnesses. Let’s turn to Luke 24:36-49, this is after Jesus rose from the dead and He had already appeared to Peter and another disciple as they walked on the road to Emmaus. They went back to the upper room and Jesus appeared to them: Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, Peace to you. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, Have you any food here? So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence. Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me. And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. I have a question for you; every one of you who is preaching, every one of you who is witnessing: Have you been endued with power from on high? You say you have the Holy Spirit, but do you have the power of the Spirit of God; the same power that raised Jesus from the dead operating through you? Consider your ways. Let’s turn to Acts 1:4-8, And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, which, He said, you have heard from Me; 

for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And He said to them, It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. 

The Apostles obeyed the Lord and they tarried in Jerusalem until, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was poured out upon them, and they spoke with tongues and they prophesied. Then Peter rose up and he spoke these words, verse 32 of Acts 2, This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call. Have you truly received the gift of the Holy Spirit? I am not here to condemn you; I’m here to exhort you to consider: Have you really received the Holy Spirit; have you really been baptized by Jesus in the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist said, I baptize you with water, but He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Some of you, as we used to say in the old days, have received the Holy Spirit but He has leaked out, in other words, you haven’t stirred up the gift of the Spirit in you; you haven’t continued in the Spirit; you haven’t 

continued in the power of the Spirit; you haven’t continued in His Word. Jesus said, If you continue in my Word, you will be my disciples indeed, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will speak in other tongues, you will prophecy, and you will receive power! And the reason you receive power is not to be exalted in the eyes of men. The reason you receive power is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to glorify Him!; to glorify His name! The Holy Spirit, Jesus said, will glorify Me. He glorifies Jesus! What are you doing glorifying yourself!? No wonder the Holy Spirit is not in your church services; because you’re seeking your own glory; because you love the world and the things of the world! Repent!,  and turn back to God with all your heart and be His witnesses! Let the Holy Spirit move through you! Let the Holy Spirit move throughout the church! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise God!

In Acts chapter 3 we read about Peter and John going up into the Temple at the third hour, the hour of prayer, and the Lord moved; the power of God moved. Peter didn’t dream it up; he didn’t think this would be a good thing to do. He was just walking into the Temple and the Holy Spirit led him to that man who was begging; who was born lame; he couldn’t walk from his mother’s womb; he was 40 years old, and Peter said, Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I you. What did he have? He had received the Holy Spirit; he had received the power that Jesus told him to tarry in Jerusalem for. He received that power and he was being led by the Spirit! And he took that man by the hand and raised him up and said, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk! And the power of God came on that man, and he rose up and leaped and praised God, and went with them into the Temple, walking and leaping and praising God! And that day over 5,000 men were saved as Peter preached the Gospel! Chapter 3, verses 11-16, Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed. So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Glory to God! Glory to God! Acts 4:33-35, And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 

and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. The Apostles gave witness to Jesus’ resurrection with great power; the exceeding greatness of His mighty power that the Father worked in Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. Let’s turn there: Eph 1:15-23, Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all! This Gospel is with power! We are witnesses unto Him; unto His resurrection, by demonstrating the power of God as the Holy Spirit leads us. Victory over death, victory over all sickness, over all the powers of darkness, over all sin and unrighteousness! In Isaiah 53, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we were healed! This is the truth! The Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power!; righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! Jesus said, You shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto Me; in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. Let’s turn to 1 Cor 2:1-5, And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. There is the power!; the exceeding greatness of God’s mighty power that He worked in Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. Jesus said, in the Book of Revelation, I was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore! He died for our sins; all our sicknesses; everything was laid on Him; everything that troubles the human race was laid on Jesus, and when the Father raised Him from the dead, He put it all off! He put it all off! That’s why Paul determined not to know anything except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Amen! He said, I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 

We are the Lord’s witnesses as He moves, as He moves by His Spirit through us, and as He wills, in demonstration of the power of His resurrection; the exceeding greatness of His mighty power which the Father worked in Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. 1 Cor 12:4-11, There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For what purpose? To glorify Jesus, and to edify the body of Christ. And if you get off from that purpose; if the Holy Spirit begins to move in your midst, and you begin to look to yourselves, or you begin to look to yourself like you’re some great man or woman of God, you will miss the bus. The Holy Spirit will leave. He glorifies Jesus! Our hearts must be purified to where we desire to glorify God and honor Him, and then God will move by His Spirit as we believe; as we trust Him and believe He will manifest His power, but it’s always for that purpose: for the glory of God, and for the edification of the body of Christ. 

Thank you Father. Let’s just praise Him. Let’s just praise the Lord. Thank you Lord! Praise you Father! We thank you Father! Praise you Father! We thank you Lord! The Kingdom of God is not in word but in power! Thank you Lord! Praise you Father! Thank you Father! Thank you Lord! Thank you Father; if you wish to speak Father, Amen Thank you Lord! Praise you Father! I wait upon you Father: whatever you will, whatever you want to do:

Interpretation of a message in tongues:

I am the God of all flesh! Hear my voice, you preachers! You listen to Me right now!

I am warning you! I’m warning you because I love you! I’m not warning you to condemn you, but I’m warning you and commanding you to repent for perverting my ways; for perverting the people; for teaching lies and speaking lies in my name! You will be severely judged for these things if you will not repent, says the Lord!

 In This Is Love

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called In This Is Love. Let’s turn to John 3:1-8, There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him. Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 

Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. Verses 13-21, No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. In verses 35&36, John the Baptist said, The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 5:19&20, Then Jesus answered and said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 

John 10:11-18, Jesus said, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know my sheep, and am known by my own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Therefore my Father loves Me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from my Father. John 13:1,  Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. John 14:15-24, If you love Me, keep my commandments, Jesus said, And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world? Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep my Word; and my Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep my Words; and the Word which you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent Me. Verse 31, But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here. Chapter 15, verses 9-17, As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are my friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another. Verses 23-25, He who hates Me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and my Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, They hated Me without a cause. John 16:26-28,  In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father. John 17:1-5, Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. Verses 20-26, I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold my glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. 

Clearly you can see in these scriptures that the Father loved His Son from before the foundation of the world, and that Jesus loved His Father and kept His commandments; He drank the cup that the Father gave Him. The Father gave Him that cup because the Father loves us. He so loved us that He gave Jesus, whom He dearly loved; His only begotten Son, who loved Him, and always did His will and kept His commandments, even unto death; to suffer the death of the Cross, that we might be delivered from death; that our sins might be taken away through faith in His sacrifice for us, and that we might be washed in His precious Blood and come into fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus, and that we might dwell in them, and they in us, that we all might be one unto the glory of God. It is His love that saved us! In this is love: Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Why? So that we might enter into His love and dwell in Him; that both the Father and His Son Jesus might make their abode in us.Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. If we love Him we will keep His Words, we will walk in His light; He is the light of the world, and we will love one another, and have fellowship, one with another. The Apostle John said, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us; that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. In this is love: Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Do you see how the Father loves Jesus? Do you see that it was so hard for Him to give His beloved Son to suffer on that Cross for our sins; a people who did not know Him nor love Him. Do you see how much He loved you; that He did that for you, that you might be forgiven and come into eternal fellowship with Him and His Son in His Glory? Do you see how much Jesus loves the Father; that He would do this for us; how much He loves us that He would suffer so much for us to be forgiven and saved from the wrath of God to come? Believe the love that God has for you and come to Him with all your heart. He will not hurt you. He will not reject you. He is not a man that He should lie. He will wash you and cleanse you and teach you His good way. Jesus said, All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. He said, My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow Me, and I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them unto Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

Prophecy:

I am God Almighty. Those of you who are listening to my servant Rob this day, hearken to my Words; know my love! Come to Me! Look unto Me, your Savior! Come to Me, for I love you; I gave my precious Son for your life; that you might live with Me in eternity, in my Glory! Even as Rob has said, so it is true; it is my Word. Believe my Word and live, says the Lord! Choose life! Choose eternal life with Me in my Glory, says the Lord!

 Rebellion

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This program is called 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about Rebellion. Let’s turn to Isa 14:12-15, How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. Notice what Satan said; he said, I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. He spoke what he would do; it was his will to do it, and it was not the will of God, and he ended up being cast out of Heaven, and he will end up in the Pit. Let’s compare that with what Jesus said: Jesus said, I only do what I see my Father doing; I only say what I hear my Father saying. And in the hour of his temptation, in the Garden of Gethsemane, when He was faced with all that torment and brutal suffering, He said, Not my will Father, but yours be done. He said, If it be your will Father, take this cup from Me! Nevertheless, not my will Father, but your will be done. In Matthew 7 Jesus said, They that do the will of my Father, those are they that are going into the Kingdom of Heaven; not they that say, Lord, Lord, and do their own will. That’s what He was talking about. He said, Many will come to Me and say, Lord, Lord, have we not done many wonderful works in your name, and I will say to them, Depart from Me, I never knew you, you who work iniquity. The root of all iniquity is rebellion; rebellion against God. We’ve all been plagued with this; it’s in our sinful nature. It’s why Jesus died for us; the rebellion that plagues us, that Jesus put to death on the Cross, and that we must put to death through the Spirit. In Rom 8:13&14 it says, If you live after the flesh you shall die. What are the works of the flesh? They’re all directed toward me, my will, my pleasures; what I want to do.  They’re rooted in rebellion. But he said,  if you through the Spirit do put to death the deeds of the flesh, the deeds of the body,  you shall live! 

Let’s turn to 1 Sam 15:1-23,  Samuel also said to Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts: I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey. So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.  And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley. Then Saul said to the Kenites, Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying,  I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night. So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal. Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord. 

But Samuel said, What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.  Then Samuel said to Saul, Be quiet, and I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night. And he said to him, Speak on. So Samuel said, When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel? Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed. Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord? And Saul said to Samuel, But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal. So Samuel said: Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king. 1 Sam 16:1, Now the Lord said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons. 1 Sam 13:13&14, And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you. 1 Sam 15:28&29,  So Samuel said to him, The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent. What was the difference between David and Saul? Saul was about himself. That is why he was so angry and wanted to kill David when the women came out with timbrels and dancing singing, Saul has killed his thousands and David his ten thousands. Saul wanted the honor of men; he wanted honor for himself. David wanted God to be honored. He loved God and was very zealous for the Lord God of Israel. That is why he killed Goliath, because Goliath defied the armies of Israel. He sought to uphold the honor of God. David kept the ways of the Lord. His heart was after God, not for himself. He sinned, but he repented and God forgave him, and he never let go of his faith; just as Jesus said to Peter, when He told him he was going to deny Him, He said Satan wanted to sift him as wheat, but He said, I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And that was the difference with Peter as well; his faith did not fail because Jesus interceded for him, and he repented.

What are we after? Are we after our self; our own glory, riches and pleasures? Or are we after God, and His glory and blessing? The Apostle Paul said at one point about some of those that had been with him in preaching the Gospel, he said, All seek their own, not the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. What a statement! Are we willing to lay down our agenda, our lives, our plans, and humble ourselves before Him and love Him and serve Him? He has promised if you will humble yourself, you will be exalted in due time; in due time. It’s according to His will and timing, and we need to trust Him. Jesus had to humble Himself all the way to the death of the Cross; all the way through it unto death, before the Father raised Him from the dead and exalted Him to His own right hand, far above all principality and power and might and every name that is named! So we need to humble ourselves and keep humbling ourselves to obey the Father as He leads us in paths of righteousness to break us of our rebellion; our stubborn self will, self love, self gratification, and to fill us with His righteousness, peace and joy; and being led by His Spirit, yielding to His Spirit, to do His will every day. It all takes place in each new day, and His mercies are new every morning! His grace is sufficient in every situation. If we will yield to Him in this, to do His will, then we will begin to bear fruit that remains to His glory. Great is His faithfulness! Great is His faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed your hand has provided. Great is your faithfulness, Lord, unto me! This all begins with repentance. We need to come to God; come to Jesus and repent in truth of our rebellion and turn from it with all our hearts to fear Him and obey Him and love Him and serve Him unto death! John 12:25&26, Jesus said, He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. You see that? He who hates his life in this world will keep it unto life eternal and God will honor them, if they serve Him. If we serve Him, He will honor us.

The Children of Israel, many, many times, after they came into the land of Israel, and God delivered the land into their hands, they sinned in rebellion, they fell into sin and they worshipped idols and they did many abominations, and God sent them prophets and righteous kings, and they would turn from their iniquity, and then the prophet, or the king, or the priest would perish, and they would fall back into iniquity. Many, many times they turned from Him and worshipped other gods, so finally His judgement came upon Israel to destroy Jerusalem.  He sent King Nebuchadnezzar to do so. And those that humbled themselves to surrender to Nebuchadnezzar, in obedience to the Word of God spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, kept their own lives for a prey. They went into captivity in Babylon, but God blessed them there and took care of them for seventy years. However, those that rebelled died. 

The Lord is making a people after His own heart who will keep His ways because they love Him with all their heart, and He will bless them forever, and they will dwell with Him in His glorious Kingdom. Jesus said, If you love Me, keep My commandments. The Apostle John said, This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. The reason we find it hard to keep Jesus’ Words is because we don’t love Him with all our heart. We still love ourselves and our own pleasures, and we want to do our own stubborn will. We still love the world; the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. If we will come to Him and acknowledge our sin to Him and ask Him to give us a heart of love and devotion to Him; if we truly want that and seek after that with all our heart, He will respond.

Lord, you know I am a rebel. I have been rebellious and self willed all my days. Forgive me Lord and cleanse me of my rebellion and all my wicked, witchcraft ways to get my own way. Give me a heart after your heart; to love You and obey You with all my heart, that You might be pleased with me; that I might be a blessing to You and your people, and to the people in my own life. Teach me to fear You Lord and to love you; that I would fear to do anything that would displease you. Amen.

 How To Be Happy

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called How To Be Happy. We are weak, but He is strong. In Habakkuk, chapter 3 it is written, The Lord God is my strength; He makes my feet like hind’s feet, and makes me to walk on my high places. Let’s turn to 1 Cor 1:17-31, The Apostle Paul said, For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.  In 2 Cor 12:1-10, the Apostle Paul talks about a vision that he had where he went to the third Heaven, and in verse 7 he said, And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2Co 13:4,  For though He was crucified through weakness, yet He lives by the power of God.

Let’s turn to Psalms 145: 1-21, I will extol You, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.  I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your Kingdom, and talk of Your power, to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His Kingdom. Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His Holy name forever and ever. Psalm 147:1-11, Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises on the harp to our God, who covers the heavens with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the mountains. He gives to the beast its food, and to the young ravens that cry. He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy. Psalm 118:8-14, It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. All nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. 

They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They surrounded me like bees; they were quenched like a fire of thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. You pushed me violently, that I might fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Let’s go back to Psalm 146:1-10, Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being; in the King James Version it says, I will sing praises to my God while I have any being! Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish. 

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever, who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down. The Lord shall reign forever—Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord! Verse 5, Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help; whose hope is in the Lord his God!

It is the Lord God who is strong. We are weak. Even the strongest of men cannot resist Him, nor stand before Him. God will show Himself strong on behalf of those who trust in Him; whose heart is perfect toward Him. When we trust in a man, our heart is not perfect toward God. Many men are strong in the flesh, and they are able to build great things. People are impressed by their confidence and their influence in the world and in the church. This is a great error in the Church of Jesus Christ; that we should trust in a man. No matter how great he may seem to be, we should never glory in men, but only in the power of God; for He alone is great; He alone is worthy of our praise and devotion. We are to be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. When we are strong in our own flesh, we miss out on the great blessings that come from waiting on the Lord, and trusting Him to show Himself strong on our behalf. The Lord knows those that put their trust in Him; like the prophets and teachers in Acts 13, who were fasting and praying and seeking God. The Holy Spirit said, Separate Barnabas and Saul for the work that I have called them to do, and He sent them out, and Paul, who was beset with weaknesses, became the Apostle to the gentiles, and established many churches. God started his work, and God prospered it. God was glorified through Jesus Christ in all those churches, and in all the fruit of Paul’s ministry, even to this day. The Apostle Peter said, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him minister as of the ability which God gives, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever, Amen! The Apostle Paul said, God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. The Apostle Paul said in Phil 2:1-11, Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 

Jesus was walking with His disciples one day and they were discussing among themselves which one of them was the greatest. When they came to the place where they were going, Jesus said, What were you talking about in the way? Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them and said unto them, Do you see this little child? He who humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of God. He also said, Unless we humble ourselves as little children, we will by no means enter into the Kingdom of God. At the Last Supper, when Jesus had finished washing the disciples’ feet, He said, Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Master and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then your Lord and Master have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily I say to you, the servant is not greater than his lord, neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, happy are you if you do them. If we will humble ourselves before our great and mighty Lord and Father, the God of the whole Earth, the one who opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing, the one who calls all the stars by name, the one by whom all things consist, the one who created us and all things by His Word and by His power, the one who raised His Son from the dead in victory over all sin and death, and all the power of evil, the one who loves you and gave Himself for you; if we will fall before Him on our faces and say, like the Apostle Paul: I am nothing Lord! I can do nothing without you! All glory and honor and blessing and power and might and dominion be unto you Father in Heaven, and unto you, my Lord Jesus Christ; and continue to walk humbly in Him, trusting only in Him, giving Him all glory and honor; if we will do these things, then we will be happy!

Interpretation of a message in tongues:

I am God Almighty. I am with my servant Rob. Those of you who are listening, give heed to these words. I love you, but you must understand that I am God. I am God, and you are my children. I created you to serve Me and love Me and honor Me and glorify My name and glorify My Son. If you will do these things, I will bless you, says the Lord.

 An Habitation Of God

Greetings in the Name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today’s program is called An Habitation Of God. Let’s turn to Psalm 132: 1-5, Lord, remember David and all his afflictions; how he swore to the Lord, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house, or go up to the comfort of my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob. King David loved God. It was in his heart to build the Temple of the Lord; an habitation for the Mighty God of Jacob. 

1 Pet 2:1-9, Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Let’s go to John 4,  this is where Jesus met the woman at the well; Jacob’s well, and she said to Him, in verse 19, Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship. Jesus said to her, woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. Let’s go to Eph 2:19-22,  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitly framed together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. In whom all the building, fitly framed together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In whom you also are builded together, in one accord in the truth, for an habitation of God through the Spirit. The building is fitly framed together by the Lord. Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it. There are many houses that were not built by the Lord. The Lord builds the house by preparing His people, through many trials and tribulations, to purify them and make them white. He gives unto them various gifts and ministries, according to His will, and brings them together by His Spirit; a people in one accord, to love the Father, and offer unto Him spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable unto Him.

Psalm 133, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, even  Aaron’s beard, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore. The Lord builds a people together in the truth of His Word; the Apostles’ doctrine. In Acts chapter 2 we see that the disciples continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine. The Apostles’ doctrine is the New Testament, as it is written. They continued in fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayers. So the Lord builds a people together in the truth of His Word; in the fellowship and power of the Holy Spirit. Brethren can only dwell together in unity in the truth of God’s Word; in fellowship with the Father, and with Jesus, and with one another through the Spirit; only in the true doctrine of Christ. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. If lies are accepted; if there is sin not being confessed and repented of, there is no real fellowship or unity; there is no habitation for the Lord. There is no fellowship, light with darkness. 2 Cor 6:14-18, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them; I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says The Almighty. Chapter 7, verse 1, Therefore, having these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 

Let’s go to 1 John 1:1-10, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us. Chapter 2, verses 1-6, My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His Commandments. He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. Verse 5, Whosoever keeps His Word, in him truly is the love of God perfected. In verse 15 we read, Love not the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. In verse 16, For all that is in the world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever. Remember, Jesus said, in Matthew 7, at the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Not everyone who says to Me , Lord, Lord, is going into the Kingdom of Heaven, but they that do the will of My Father. He said, Many will come to Me in that day and say, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name; have we not cast out devils, and done many wonderful works, and then I will say to them, Depart from Me; I never knew you; you who practice lawlessness. He said, They that do the will of My Father, those are the ones that will be going into the Kingdom of Heaven. Gal 5:24, They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh, with the affections and lusts. Gal 6:14, But God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. The Church needs a revelation of this. We are to be a holy habitation for the Lord, and offer up to Him spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Him through Jesus Christ. We must love Him and worship Him and serve Him with all our heart, as He has so loved us that He gave His only begotten, beloved Son a living sacrifice for our sins, to bring us into this fellowship in Him, and to give us eternal life. Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone. Whoever falls on this Rock will be broken to pieces, but on whomsoever it falls, it will grind him to powder. We must come to Jesus, and let Him break us, and build us together a holy temple unto the Lord; an habitation for the Mighty God of Jacob. Again, Eph 2:22, In whom you also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Let’s turn to John 17, this is when Jesus was praying to the Father, shortly before He was crucified. I need to read verse 3, And this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Verses 16-26, Referring to His disciples, Jesus said, They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth; your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. You know, Jesus said, If you love me, keep My Words. He said in John 8, If you continue in My Word, then are you my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free. 1 John 5:3, For this is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments, and His Commandments are not burdensome. If we love Jesus, we will continue in His Word, and we will be sanctified through the truth. We love Him because He first loved us and washed us from our sins in His own Blood. 1John 4:7-16, 

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 

 Perfect Peace

Php 4:6&7, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 

God is not a respecter of persons. Anyone who will humble themselves in this hour and do these things as they are written will find His peace. If you are anxious; if you are stressed out; if you are afraid; humble yourself and come to God in prayer, pouring out your heart to Him, with thanksgiving; so important to come with thanksgiving, and let your requests be made known unto Him, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and the peace of God, His perfect peace, which passes all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. This is all through Jesus: His peace; not as the world gives, gives He unto you. Because of His love for you, His sacrifice for your sins, and your faith and trust in Him you have peace with God. He is our peace! If you will do this in humility and faith , He will respond! He will keep your heart and your mind in His peace. Isa 26:3, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

1 Pet 5:6&7, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time; casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you. You may say, God doesn’t care about me. Yes He does! He cares about you so much that He gave His only beloved Son, who never did anything wrong, who only went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, to offer Himself a living sacrifice on that Cross and give His sinless life for your sins! He loves you and if you will come to Him He will deliver you from this oppression of the devil. 1 Pet 5:8&9, Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, (or a subtle serpent) walks about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist, steadfast in the faith! Submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you! Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God!

Php 4:8&9, Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
